Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24

Are you a fan of JC or a follower of JC? 

Jesus never wanted fans, He always wanted follwers. 

And there is a big difference between two. 

Fans are comfortable. Followers are committed. 

Fans are consumers. Followers are contributors. 

Fans sit in the stands. Followers get in the game. 

Fans are spectators. Followers are participators. 

Fans are part-time. Followers are full-ime.

Fans follow the crowd. Followers follow Christ.

Fans only listen to the word. Followers practice the word.

Fans live by the feelings. Followers live by faith.

Fans only want blessings, Followes embrace burdens.

Fans only want a crown. Followers carry the cross.
