영국의 맨체스터 메트로 폴리탄 대학 (Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU))의 전자공학과가 psb대학에서 학위를 제공하게 되었습니다. Psb는 싱가폴에서 호주의 뉴캐슬 대학과 울릉공 대학의 학위를 수영을 했었는데 영국의 대학으로는 처음으로 MMU대학과 손을잡고 학위과정을 진행합니다. PSB의 싱가폴 내에서의 인지도는 꽤 높은 편입니다. 더불어 공부하는 과정 역시 만만하지 않는 대학입니다. 아래 내용에는 PSB에서 온 MMU와의 학위 제휴 내용입니다.
Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Mechanical Engineering (ME)
a. PSB is very proud to offer UK accredited MMU BENG (Hons) EEE and ME programs in Year 2013. This course is professionally accredited by both the institution of Mechanical Engineers and the institution of Engineering and Technology (UK), which will be the best possible pathway the graduands to practice as an “professional Engineer”, making it ideal for anyone seeking UK Chartered Engineer status.
b. Articulated PSB Engineering Diploma will be served as the foundation and first year of the degree program and thereafter, students are required to undertake 16 months (2nd Level 5 and 3rd year/Level6) of UK BENG degree program in Singapore
c. Students will have an option to transfer their final year or to study some of the modules in the final year for exposure and part of the exchange program with MMU.
d. Fees in Singapore are approximately 40%. 45% lesser as compared to UK.
i. Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering
a) Each module has the weight of 30 credit with the extensive contact/teaching hours to cover the very much broad and in-depth understanding of each and every sub-areas.
b) There is an emphasis on project work in all years.
c) The students will be able to develop an appreciation of how electrical and electronic engineering can lead to renewable energy.
ii. Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Mechanical Engineering
a) Each module has the weight of 30 credits with the extensive contact/teaching hours to cover the very much broad and in-depth understanding of each and every sub-area.
b) Studying the design and manufacture of engineering systems, learning practical engineering skills and carrying out a range of laboratory experiments throughout the study.
