Bible Reading - Luke 8:11~20

8:11 "This is the meaning of the parable: 이것이 그 비유의 의미이다.

The seed is the word of God. 씨는 하나님의 말씀이다. 
8:12 Those along the path(길을 따라 ) are the ones who hear, 길가에 뿌려진 그것들은 듣는 자들이다.

and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, 

그리고 그때 악마가 와서 그들의 마음에서 말씀을 가져가 버린다.

so that they may not believe and be saved. 그들이 믿지 않고 구원받지 못하게 하기 위해 

8:13 Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, 

바위 위에 뿌려진 씨는 말씀을 들을 때 기쁨으로 그 말씀을 받는 자들이다. 

but they have no root. 그러나 그들은 뿌리가 없다.

 They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.

그들은 잠시 믿지만 시험을 받을 때에 그들은 떨어져 나간다.

8:14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, 

가시덤불에 떨어진 씨는 듣는 자들을 위해 견딘다.

but as they go on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 그러나 그들은 삶을 살아가면서 인생의 근심, 부와 쾌락에 짓눌려 성숙하지 못한다.

8:15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

그러나 좋은 땅에 뿌려진 씨앗은 고귀하고 선한 마음을 가진 사람들, 곧 말씀을 듣고 마음에 새기고 인내하여 열매를 맺는 사람들을 상징한다.

8:16 "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed.

누구도 램프에 불을 켜서 항아리에 숨기거나 침대 밑에 두지는 않는다.

Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.

그는 오히려 그것을 받침대 위에 올려놓아 들어오는 사람들이 빛을 볼 수 있도록 한다.

8:17 For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, 

감추어진 것 중에 드러나지 않을 것은 없다.

and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.

그리고 감춰진 것은 무엇이든 알려지거나 드러날 것이다.

8:18 Therefore consider carefully how you listen.

그러므로 너게 어떻게 들을 것인지 주의깊게 생각하라.

 Whoever has will be given more; 가진 자는 누구든지 더 받을 것이며 

whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him."

가진 것이 없는 사람은, 비록 자기가 가지고 있다고 생각하는 것조차 빼앗길 것이다.

8:19 Now Jesus' mother and brothers came to see him,

그때 예수의 어머니와 형제들이 그를 보러 왔다.

but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd.

그러나 그들은 무리들 때문에 그에게 가까이 갈 수 없었다.

8:20 Someone told him, 어떤 사람이 그에게 말했다.

"Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you."

당신의 어머니와 형제들이 바깥에서 당신을 보기를 원하며 서있습니다.
