The bizarre course of events shown by the investigative agencies of this country
The culprit is a criminal caught in the act. Almost all Koreans watched the crime in real time, and the entire world watched the live broadcast. It was an unconstitutional martial law.
I mean, the incident where soldiers stormed the National Assembly, barged into Kim Eo-jun’s house, and pushed their way into the National Election Commission. Whether you call it a bloody word called internal rebellion or not, it was the most unconstitutional palace coup by a sitting president in which soldiers with machine guns invaded democracy. This incident is one that leaves no room for interpretation.
It is an incident where the only sentences are the death penalty and life imprisonment, and even now, the lies and incitement that fuel the subsequent incitement of internal rebellion and mob action are still resonating through the streets. It is not a page of history that has already become a fossil. It is a truly dangerous incident that can jump into real politics and turn the tables even now.
The judge is right. It is important to follow the procedure, and it is impossible for such a mistake in calculating the date of arrest to happen in a serious case that deals with a so-called national criminal. This is the result of repeated and accumulated cases of very minor violations of due process. Finally, the court issued an order to “release the arrested person.”
It sounds like a stern order of mercy from the court to an innocent person who was unjustly arrested and detained. Perhaps the prosecution is unable to handle even the most obvious case in history accurately.
If the prosecution cannot even follow due process to this extent, then its intentionality is truly questionable. Is the prosecution truly plotting this? Is it because the culprit is the president, their former superior, and their senior? Ingenious mistakes are being repeated.
Is someone maliciously avoiding the investigation? It has been a long time since there were criticisms that the prosecution has become like the Roman emperor’s praetorian guard. Is the prosecution a group that is internally united and determined to crush even this obvious palace coup?
It has already been three months and ten days since the incident occurred. The investigative agencies at all levels have spent time playing a strange ping-pong game. What on earth is going on in the investigative agencies of this country? Is there a law or not?
