Year 9 LOTE learners participated in a one-of-a-kind language session

Our Year 9 LOTE learners recently participated in a one-of-a-kind language session with Beatnation, our long-time community partner. In this exciting session, they dove into the art of beatboxing, seamlessly incorporating Mandarin and Malay words into their rhythmic performances. Through collaboration, the learners not only boosted their creativity but also honed their pronunciation of tricky vowels and consonants, all while crafting impressive, original compositions. Justin, our professional beatboxer, was amazed, saying, "Honestly, the kids really surprised us with their creativity in both rhythm and language!"
