† A man after God’s own heart (♡)†

Friends, let me ask you a question, how we can become favorite of our parents, teachers, friends? No doubt we’ve to love & respect our parents, study & work hard. And when our friends need us we’ve to be there. Then we’ll be appreciated & loved by our parents, teachers & friends otherwise, we will be dishonour, dislike and maybe we will not welcome by anyone of them except our parents

Today, I want to let you know the secret to be appreciated & become after God’s own heart. Listen carefully.

Acts 13 : 22 “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will”

I strongly wish & pray that all the members of our church become after God’s own heart.

David the son of Jesse become God‘s favorite. Let’s follow his foot prints & become God’s favorite.

1. Respected the anointed one.

Friends, we’ve to know that Saul the 1st. king of Israel was anointed by prophet Samuel but later king Saul disobeyed God. King Saul want to kill David. Even though it was very easy for David to kill Saul but David respect the anointed one. King David spared the life of king Saul that’s why, God like David.

1st. Samuel 26 : 9 ~ 10

But David said to Abishai, “Don’t destroy him! Who can lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed and

be guiltless? As surely as the Lord lives,” he said, “the Lord himself will strike him,

or his time will come and he will die, or he will go into battle and perish.

It’s question for you & me. Do we respect & love our spiritual leaders (Pastors - anointed ones).

2. Trust the Lord fully.

2ndly,we can see David trust the Lord fully. When champion Goliath called long 40 days to fight with him. All the Israelites army including king Saul was afraid and shivering with the fear of Goliath.

1st. Samuel 17 : 10 ~ 11

Then the Philistine said, “This day I defy the armies of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight

each other.” On hearing the Philistine’s words, Saul & all the Israelites were dismayed & terrified.

1st. Samuel 17 : 24 ~~ Whenever the Israelites saw the man, they all fled from him in great fear.

But we can see man of God David never felt fear of champion Goliath even though he was strong.

1st. Samuel 17 : 45

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear & javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Brothers and sisters, maybe there is a Goliath before us. Let’s defeat in Jesus name.

Philippians 4 : 13 ~ I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.

3. Never feel shy or fear to repent.

David was a human being like you & me. He made mistakes but good thing is that he confess & repent.

2nd. Samuel 12 : 13 (Married with Bathsheba & count God’s army)

Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan

replied, “The Lord has taken away your sin. You are not going to die.

2nd. Samuel 24 : 14

David said to Gad, “I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of

the Lord, for His mercy is great; but do not let me fall into human hands.”

If we made anything wrong. Don’t remorse like Judas Iscariot but repent like Apostle Peter & David.

Acts 3 : 19 ~~~ Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be

wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

4. David always ask God. (David inquired about 9 times in Bible)

2nd. Samuel 5 : 19 ~ so David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I go and attack the Philistines?

2nd. Samuel 24 : 25

David built an altar to the Lord there and sacrificed burnt offerings & fellowship offerings.

Then the Lord answered his prayer in behalf of the land, & the plague on Israel was stopped.

Holy Bible taught David prayed or ask 9 times God’s will. David’s multiple inquiries of the Lord reveal that he was a man of prayer, who was always intent to know His will. This was the main reason why he was called a man after God’s own heart. God says, (Do we ask God, before we do anything)

Acts 13 : 22 “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will”

5. David Made himself busy, in his free time.

Friends, 5ththing what we see in David’s life. He always made himself busy. In the wilderness with his sheep. He practice the sling & threw the stones. Later he killed Goliath with that skill. David wrote poetry. He wrote lots of Psalms. David also invented different musical instruments.

1st. Samuel 16 : 18

One of the servants answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man & a warrior. He speaks well & is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him.”

2nd. Chronicles 29 : 25

He stationed the Levites in the temple of the Lord with cymbals, harps & lyres in the way prescribed by David and Gad the king’s seer & Nathan the prophet; this was commanded by the Lord through his prophets.

6. David’s faith was not verbal faith.

Friends, 6th thing what we can see in David’s life. His faith in the Lord wasn’t verbal faith. He showed his faith by his deeds. He called Goliath to fight with faith, that Lord will save him from Goliath.

1st.Samuel 17 : 45 ~ 46

David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword & pear & javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, & I’ll strike you down and cut off your

head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and

the wild animals, & the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.

God isn’t God of David only. He’s your God too. Use your faith & see impossible things turn into possible.

Matthew 21 : 22 ~~ And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.

Romans 10 : 17 ~~ So faith comes from hearing & hearing through the word of Christ.

7. Obedient to his parents.

Jesse commanded David to go to battle ground. David never made any argument. He just obeyed.

1st. Samuel 17 : 20

Early in the morning David left the flock in the care of a shepherd, loaded up & set out, as Jesse had directed. He reached the camp as the army was going out to its battle positions, shouting the war cry.

Exodus 20 : 12

Honor your father & your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Obey your parents even though they are old, weak and illiterate. Just respect and love them.

Conclusion :-

Maybe there are many other qualities in David’s life. But today, I just shared 7 qualities in the life of David. I always pray & it’s my hearty desire that all the members of Global Harmony Church become God’s favorite children. Friends, not only listen the Word of God. Let’s listen and obey, what it says.

2nd. Samuel 8 : 14 (Last Portion) The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.

James 1 : 22 ~ Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

하나님의 마음에 맞는 사람

여러분에게 질문 하겠습니다. 어떻게 해야 부모님, 선생님, 친구의 마음에 들 수 있을까요? 아마도 부모님을 공경하고 열심히 공부하고 일해야 할 것입니다. 그리고 친구가 우리를 필요로 할 때 우리는 거기에 있어야 합니다. 그러면 부모님, 선생님과 친구들이 우리를 고맙게 여기고 사랑할 것입니다. 그렇지 않다면 부모님을 제외하고 그들 누구에게든지 무시당하고 미움 받고 환영받지 못할 것입니다. 오늘, 저는 하나님의 마음에 맞는 사람이 되고 인정받는 비밀을 여러분에게 알려드리고자 합니다. 잘 들으십시오.

사도행전 13 : 22 ~ 내가 이새의 아들 다윗을 만나니 내 마음에 맞는 사람이라 내 뜻을 다 이루리라 하시더니.

저는 우리 교회 모든 성도가 하나님의 마음에 맞는 사람이 되기를 강력하게 축원하고 기도합니다.

이새의 아들 다윗은 하나님의 마음에 맞는 사람이 되었습니다.

그의 발자취를 따라서 하나님의 마음에 맞는 사람이 됩시다.

1. 기름부음 받은 자를 존중하십시오.

이스라엘의 첫 번째 왕인 사울은 선지자 사무엘에 의해 기름부음 받았지만 후에 사울 왕은 하나님께 불순종했음을 알아야 합니다. 사울 왕은 다윗을 죽이려 했습니다. 다윗은 사울을 매우 쉽게 죽일 수 있었음에도 불구하고 다윗은 기름부음 받은 자를 존중했습니다. 다윗은 사울 왕의 생명을 아꼈기에 하나님은 다윗을 좋아하셨습니다.

사무엘상 26 : 9 ~ 10

다윗이 아비새에게 이르되 죽이지 말라 누구든지 손을 들어 여호와의 기름 부음 받은 자를 치면

죄가 없겠느냐 하고 다윗이 또 이르되 여호와께서 살아계심을 두고 맹세하노니 여호와께서

그를 치시리니 혹은 죽을 날이 이르거나 또는 전장에 나가서 망하리라.

여러분과 저에 대한 질문입니다. 우리는 영적인 지도자(목사-기름부음 받은 자)를 존중하고 사랑합니까?

2. 온전히 주님을 신뢰하십시오.

두 번째, 다윗이 주님을 온전히 신뢰함을 볼 수 있습니다. 용사 골리앗은 40일 동안 그와 싸우자고 불렀습니다. 사울 왕을 포함하여 모든 이스라엘 군대는 골리앗 때문에 두려워 떨고 있었습니다.

사무엘상 17 : 10 ~ 11

그 블레셋 사람이 또 이르되 내가 오늘 이스라엘의 군대를 모욕하였으니 사람을 보내어 나와 더불어

싸우게 한지라 사울과 온 이스라엘이 블레셋 사람의 이 말을 듣고 놀라 크게 두려워하니라.

사무엘상 17 : 24 ~~ 이스라엘 모든 사람이 그 사람을 보고 심히 두려워하여 그 앞에서 도망하여.

하지만 하나님의 사람 다윗은 용사 골리앗이 강함에도 불구하고 그를 두려워하지 않았습니다.

사무엘상 17 : 45 ~~ 다윗이 블레셋 사람에게 이르되 너는 칼과 창과 단창으로 내게 나아오거니와 나 만군의 여호와의 이름 곧 네가 모욕하는 이스라엘 군대의 하나님의 이름으로 네게 나아가노라

형제자매 여러분, 혹시 우리 앞에 골리앗이 있다면 예수의 이름으로 이깁시다.

빌립보서 4 : 13 ~~~ 내게 능력 주시는 자 안에서 내가 모든 것을 할 수 있느니라.

3. 회개하는 것을 부끄러워하거나 두려워하지 마십시오.

다윗은 여러분과 저와 같은 사람입니다. 그는 잘못을 했지만 좋은 점은 그가 고백하고 회개한 것입니다.

사무엘하 12 : 13 (밧세바와 결혼, 하나님의 군대를 계수함)

다윗이 나단에게 이르되 내가 여호와께 죄를 범하였노라 하매 나단이 다윗에게

말하되 여호와께서도 당신의 죄를 사하셨나니 당신이 죽지 아니하려니와.

사무엘하 24 : 14

다윗이 갓에게 이르되 내가 고통 중에 있도다 청하건대 여호와께서는 긍휼이 크시니

우리가 여호와의 손에 빠지고 내가 사람의 손에 빠지지 아니하기를 원하노라 하는지라.

우리가 어떤 잘못을 했다면 가룟 유다처럼 후회하지 말고 사도 베드로와 다윗처럼 회개하십시오.

사도행전 3 : 19

그러므로 너희가 회개하고 돌이켜 너희 죄 없이 함을 받으라

이같이 하면 새롭게 되는 날이 주 앞으로부터 이를 것이요.

4. 다윗은 항상 하나님께 물었습니다 (성경에서 다윗은 9번 물었습니다)

사무엘하 5 : 19 ~~~~ 다윗이 여호와께 여쭈어 이르되 내가 블레셋 사람에게로 올라가리이까.

사무엘하 24 : 25

그 곳에서 여호와를 위하여 제단을 쌓고 번제와 화목제를 드렸더니 이에 여호와께서

그 땅을 위한 기도를 들으시매 이스라엘에게 내리는 재앙이 그쳤더라.

성경은 다윗이 기도하며 하나님의 뜻을 9번 물었음을 가르칩니다. 다윗이 주님께 여러 번 물었다는 것은 그가 기도의 사람이었고 항상 하나님의 뜻을 알고자 했음을 나타냅니다. 이것은 그가 하나님의 마음에 맞는 사람이라 일컬어지는 중요한 이유입니다. 우리는 어떤 일을 하기 전에 하나님께 묻습니까?

하나님께서 말씀하셨습니다.

사도행전 13 : 22 ~ 내가 이새의 아들 다윗을 만나니 내 마음에 맞는 사람이라 내 뜻을 다 이루리라 하시더니.

5. 다윗은 자유로운 시간에 자신을 바쁘게 만들었습니다.

다윗의 삶에서 볼 수 있는 다섯 번째입니다. 그는 자신을 언제나 바쁘게 만들었습니다. 광야에서 양들과 함께 물매로 돌을 던지는 것을 연습했습니다. 후에 그는 그 기술로 골리앗을 죽였습니다. 다윗은 시를 썼습니다. 그는 수많은 시편을 썼습니다. 그는 또한 여러 가지 악기를 발명했습니다.

사무엘상 16 : 18

소년 중 한 사람이 대답하여 이르되 내가 베들레헴 사람 이새의 아들을 본즉 수금을 탈줄

알고 용기와 무용과 구변이 있는 준수한 자라 여호와께서 그와 함께 계시더이다 하더라.

역대하 29 : 25

왕이 레위 사람들을 여호와의 전에 두어서 다윗과 왕의 선견자 갓과 선지자 나단이 명령한 대로

제금과 비파와 수금을 잡게 하니 이는 여호와께서 그의 선지자들로 이렇게 명령하였음이라.

6. 다윗의 믿음은 말뿐인 믿음이 아니었습니다.

다윗의 삶에서 볼 수 있는 여섯 번째입니다. 주님에 대한 그의 믿음은 말뿐인 믿음이 아니었습니다. 그는 행동으로 믿음을 보였습니다. 그는 주님께서 골리앗으로부터 그를

구하실 것이라는 믿음으로 싸우자고 골리앗을 불렀습니다.

사무엘상 17 : 45 ~ 46

다윗이 블레셋 사람에게 이르되 너는 칼과 창과 단창으로 내게 나아오거니와 나는 만군의 여호와의 이름 곧 네가 모욕하는 이스라엘 군대의 하나님의 이름으로 네게 나아가노라 오늘 여호와께서 너를 내 손에 넘기시리니 내가 너를 쳐서 네 목을 베고 블레셋 군대의 시체를 오늘 공중의 새와 땅의 들짐승에게 주어 온 땅으로 이스라엘에 하나님이 계신 줄 알게 하겠고.

하나님은 다윗만의 하나님이 아닙니다. 그분은 또한 여러분의 하나님입니다.

여러분의 믿음을 사용하여 불가능한 일이 가능하게 되는 것을 보십시오.

마태복음 21 : 22 ~~~~ 너희가 기도할 때에 무엇이든지 믿고 구하는 것은 다 받으리라 하시니라.

로마서 10 : 17 ~~~~~ 그러므로 믿음은 들음에서 나며 들음은 그리스도의 말씀으로 말미암았느니라.

7. 부모에 대한 순종.

이새는 다윗에게 전쟁터로 가라고 명령했습니다. 다윗은 논쟁하지 않고 오직 순종했습니다.

사무엘상 17 : 20

다윗이 아침에 일찍이 일어나서 양을 양 지키는 자에게 맡기고 이새가 명령한

대로 가지고 가서 진영에 이른즉 마침 군대가 전장에 나와서 싸우려고 고함치며.

출애굽기 20 : 12 ~ 네 부모를 공경하라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와가 네게 준 땅에서 네 생명이 길리라.

부모님이 늙고 약하고 무식하더라도 그분들께 순종하십시오. 오직 그분들을 공경하고 사랑하십시오.

결론 :-

다윗의 삶에 다른 많은 특징이 있습니다. 하지만 오늘 7가지 특징을 나누었습니다. 저는 항상 기도하고 글로벌 하모니 교회의 모든 성도가 하나님 마음에 맞는 자녀가 되는 것이 저의 간절한 소망입니다. 하나님 말씀을 들을 뿐만 아니라 말씀하시는 것을 듣고 순종합시다.

사무엘하 8 : 14 (후반) 다윗이 어디로 가든지 여호와께서 이기게 하셨더라.

야고보서 1 : 22 ~~~ 너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라.
