Christmas Care Boxes-Isaac, Year 11, shared how volunteering

Our amazing community continues to give back and is spreading joy in the neighbourhood this Christmas.

Straits’ families have been heart-warmingly generous as they flooded the foyer with gifts for our Christmas Care Boxes, supporting Ms Ranji’s Nursing Home, SPCA Penang, Seri Cahaya Welfare Home and St. Nicholas’s Home for the Blind.

Isaac, Year 11, shared how volunteering has changed his perspective towards giving back to the community and how this has touched his heart, he said: “I first started volunteering as part of my commitment to complete my Duke of Edinburgh Award. However, now I volunteer because of the satisfaction I feel, every time I visit the nursing home.”
