Bible Reading - Luke 9:1~11

9:1 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, 예수께서 열두명을 함께 부르셨을 때에

he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases,

그는 그들에게 모든 귀신들을 쫓아내고 병을 치료하는 능력과 권세를 주셨고

9:2 and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

하나님의 나라를 선포하고 병자들을 고치도록 그들을 내어 보내셨다.

9:3 He told them: "Take nothing for the journey--no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra tunic.

그는 그들에게 " 여행을 위해 지팡이, 가방, 빵, 돈 그리고 여분의 외투 등 어떤 것도 가져가지 말라."고 말씀하셨다.

9:4 Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town.

네가 그 마을을 떠나기까지 어떤 집이든지 들어가서 거기에 머물러라.

9:5 If people do not welcome you, 만일 사람들이 너희를 환영하지 않는다면 

shake the dust off your feet when you leave their town, as a testimony against them."

그들을 반대하는 증거로서 네가 그들의 마을을 떠날 때, 너희 발의 먼지를 떨어 버려라.

9:6 So they set out and went from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing people everywhere.

그래서 그들은 모든 곳에서 복음을 선포하고 사람들을 치료하려고 출발하여 마을과 마을로 갔다.

9:7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was going on. 

이제 분봉왕 헤롯은 일어나고 있는 모든 것에 대해 들었다.

And he was perplexed(당황했다), 그리고 그는 당황했다.

because some were saying that John had been raised from the dead,

왜냐하면 몇몇은 요한이 죽은 자들로부터 살아났다고 말하고 있었기 때문이다. 

9:8 others that Elijah had appeared, 다른 사람들은 엘리야가 나타났다고 하고 

and still others that one of the prophets of long ago had come back to life.

또 다른 사람들은 오래 전 선지자들 중에 한 사람이 살아서 돌아 왔다고 했다.

9:9 But Herod said, "I beheaded John. Who, then, is this I hear such things about?"

그러나 헤롯은 "내가 요한의 목을 베었다. 그러면 내가 그러한 일들에 대해 듣고 있는 이 사람은 누구인가?"하고 말했다.

And he tried to see him. 그리고 그는 그를 보려고 했다. 

9:10 When the apostles returned, 사도들이 돌아 왔을 때에

they reported to Jesus what they had done.그들은 그들이 했던 것을 예수께 보고했다.

Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida,

그때 그는 그들을 데리고 벳새다라고 불리어지는 마을로 물러갔다.

9:11 but the crowds learned about it and followed him. 

그러나 무리들은 이것에 대해 알고 그를 따라갔다.

He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God,

그는 그들을 영접했고 하나님의 나라에 대해 그들에게 말했고 

 and healed those who needed healing. 그리고 치료가 필요했던 자들을 치료했다.
