5 things Jesus never said that people believed

1. Follow your heart! Jesus never said that.     He said "Follow Me."  Becaus the heart is deceitful about all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?      Matthew 4:19. And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."    Jeremiah 17:9 "The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it? 2. Be true to yourself. Jesus never said that either.    He said whoever wants to be my diciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.     Matthew 16:24  Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me,  he must deny himself,    and take up his cross and follow Me. 3. Believe in yourelf, Jesus never said that.    He said, Believe in Me. I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.    John 14:1 "Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.   4. Live your truth. Jesus never said that.     What he said was " I am the truth, then you will know the true, the truth wlll set you free.    John 14:6  "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."   John 8: 31, 32 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,  "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." 5. lastly,  As long as you are happy  that's all that matters.
