1. A cloud jaguar captured on a camera in the forests of the Sierra del Merendón mountains, Honduras. It’s the first time the big cat has been seen here in a decade, showing that they are still moving through this high-elevation corridor between Honduras and Guatemala – and suggesting that years of anti-poaching ranger patrols, conservation investment and prey reintroduction are showing signs of success. # Panthera
