Bible Reading - Luke 9:32~41

9:32 Peter and his companions were very sleepy, 

베드로와 그의 동료들은 아주 졸렸다.

but when they became fully awake,

그러나 그들의 완전히 깨어났을 때 

they saw his glory and the two men standing with him.

그들은 그의 영광과 그와 함께 서있는 두 사람을 보았다.

9:33 As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, 

그 사람들이 예수님을 떠나려 할 때, 베드로는 예수님께 이렇게 말했다.

"Master, it is good for us to be here. 주여 우리가 여기 있는 것이 좋습니다.

Let us put up three shelters--우리가 초막 셋을 짓도록 해주십시오.

one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."

하나는 당신을 위해, 하나는 모세를 위해 , 하나는 엘리야를 위해

(He did not know what he was saying.) 그는 그가 무엇을 말하고 있는 알지 못했다.

9:34 While he was speaking, 그가 말하고 있는 동안에

a cloud appeared and enveloped them, 구름이 나타나서 그들을 감쌌고 

and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 그리고 그들이 구름에 들어갔을 때 두려워했다.

9:35 A voice came from the cloud, saying, 어떤 음성이 구름에서 들려와서 말하기를 

 "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him."

이 사람은 내가 선택한 나의 아들이다. 그의 말을 들어라. 

9:36 When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. 

그 음성이 말했을 때, 그들은 오직 예수만 계신다는 것을 발견했다.

The disciples kept this to themselves, and told no one at that time what they had seen.

제자들은 이 사실을 비밀로 간직하고, 당시에는 아무에게도 자신들이 본 것을 말하지 않았다.

9:37 The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.

다음 날, 그들이 산에서 내려왔을 때, 큰 무리가 그를 만났다.

9:38 A man in the crowd called out, 군중 속의 한 남자가 소리치기를 

 "Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.

선생님, 내가 당신이 내 아들을 보기를 간청드립니다. 그는 나의 유일한 자녀입니다. 

9:39 A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams;

한 영이 그를 사로잡고 갑자기 비명을 지릅니다. 

 it throws him into convulsions(경련) so that he foams at the mouth.

그것(악령)은 그를 경련하게 만들어 입에서 거품을 내게 합니다.

It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him.

그것(악령)은 거의 그를 떠나지 않고 그를 파괴하고 있는 중입니다.

9:40 I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not."

내가 당신의 제자들에게 그것을 몰아내 달라고 간청했으나 그들은 할 수 없었습니다. 

9:41 "O unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied,

"믿음이 없고 타락한 세대여" 예수께서 대답하셨습니다.

 "how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? 

얼마나 오래 내가 너희와 함께 머물러야 하며  너희를 참아 주어야 할 것인가?

Bring your son here." 너의 아들을 이리로 데리고 오라.
