예수 이름 안에 있는 최고의 권위 Unrivalled Authority In His Name 【예수께서 나아와 말씀하여 이르시되 “하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 내게 주셨으니”】 (마 28:18) ♦ 어떤 사람들은 “국가, 도시, 거리 등 특정 장소에서 권위가 있다”고 자랑하고, 어떤 사람들은 교실에서조차 불량배가 되어 친구들을 위협하기도 합니다. 하지만, 우주를 초월하여 온 천국과 땅 위와 땅 아래까지 미치는 권위를 가진 분도 있습니다. 그분의 이름은 예수이십니다! 하나님을 축복합니다! ♦ 성경은 “어느 누구도 주님의 통치, 다스림, 권세에서 벗어날 수 없다”고 말합니다. 에베소서 1:20-22은 그분이 행사하시는 비길 데 없고, 비교할 수 없는 권세에 대해 더 많은 빛을 비춰줍니다. 【죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살리시고 하늘에서 자기의 오른편에 앉히사 모든 통치와 권세와 능력과 주권과 이 세상뿐 아니라 오는 세상에 일컫는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어나게 하시고 또 만물을 그의 발 아래 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 삼으셨느니라.】 ♦ 가장 기쁜 사실은 “우리가 주님과 하나됨으로 그분의 권세가 우리에게 주어졌다”는 것입니다. 우리는 그분의 씨이며 그분의 날을 연장시킵니다. 그분은 우리를 통해 다스리십니다. 이사야 9:6은 말합니다. 【그의 어깨에는 정사를 메었고…】 그분의 어깨는 교회, 즉 우리를 가리킵니다. 우리는 그분의 몸이며, 그분은 오늘날 우리 안에서 그리고 우리를 통해 말씀하시고 행하십니다. ♦ 이것은 예수님이 "왜, 마태복음 28:18에서 하늘과 땅의 모든 권세가 그분께 있음을 확증하신 후, 19절에서 우리에게 '가서 모든 족속을 가르치라'고 명하셨는지" 이해하는 데 도움이 될 것입니다. 이는 특별합니다. “우리가 그분의 자리에 앉아있다”는 뜻이기 때문입니다. 우리는 그분의 권세로 일합니다. ♦ 그래서 우리는 그분께서 행하신 일들을 동일하게 할 수 있습니다. 그분은 우리에게 모든 귀신을 다스리고 병을 치유할 수 있는 능력과 권세를 주셨습니다(눅 9:1). 마가복음 16:15-17을 읽어보십시오. 【믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며…】 ♦ 나에게는 예수 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내고 환경을 다스리는 최고의 권세가 있습니다. 내가 할 수 없는 일이란 없으며, 내가 바꿀 수 없는 절망적인 상황도 없습니다. 나는 예수 이름으로 모든 것을 할 수 있습니다. 할렐루야! ☀ 기도 사랑하는 아버지, 주 예수님이 교회에게 주신 최고의 권세와 능력에 감사드립니다. 교회는 귀신을 쫓아내고, 열방을 가르치고, 많은 사람들을 어둠의 권세에서 빛의 왕국으로 데려오기 위해 이 권세와 능력을 받았습니다. 우리가 그리스도 안에서 가지고 있는 승리로 인해 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘. ☀ 참고 성경 【통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하여 드러내어 구경거리로 삼으시고 십자가로 그들을 이기셨느니라.】 (골 2:15) 【이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래에 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 “주라” 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라.】 (빌 2:9-11) ☀ UNRIVALLED AUTHORITY IN HIS NAME "And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in Earth”(Matthew 28:18). Some people brag about having authority in specific places, perhaps in a nation, city, street etc. For some, it’s even in classrooms such that they become bullies and terrorize their classmates. But there’s one whose authority transcends the universe and extends to all of heaven, the earth, and under the earth. His Name is Jesus! Blessed be God! The Bible says no one and nothing is exempted from His rule, His dominion and authority. Ephesians 1:20-22 sheds more light on the unrivalled and unparalleled authority that He wields. It says, “God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven, in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever. He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything….” The most exhilarating part of this is the fact that His authority is given to us because we’re one with Him. We’re His seed and we prolong His days. He rules through us. Isaiah 9:6 says, “…and the government shall be upon his shoulder….” His shoulder refers to the Church— us; we’re His body in and through which He speaks and acts today. This should help you understand why, soon after He affirmed in Matthew 28:18 that all authority is His both in heaven and in earth, He immediately charged us in the ensuing verse 19 to go and teach all nations. That’s extraordinary, because it means we sit on His seat. We function by His authority. It’s the reason we can do the same works that He did. He gave us power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases (Luke 9:1). Read what the Bible says in Mark 16:15-17 NKJV: “…And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons.” You have unrivalled authority in the Name of Jesus to cast out devils and tame circumstances.
