Bible Reading - Luke 9:54~62

9:54 When the disciples James and John saw this, 

제자들인 야고보와 요한이 이것을 보았을 때

they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?"

그들은 "주님, 당신은 우리가 하늘로부터 불을 내려 그들을 멸망시키기를 원하십니까?"하고 물었다.

9:55 But Jesus turned and rebuked them, 그러나 예수께서 돌이켜 그들을 꾸짖으셨다.

9:56 and they went to another village. 그리고 그들은 다른 마을로 갔다.

9:57 As they were walking along the road, 

그들이 길을 다라고 걷고 있을 때

a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go."

어떤 한 사람이 그에게 "나는 당신이 어디를 가시든지 따르겠습니다."라고 말했다.

9:58 Jesus replied, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests,

예수께서 " 여우들도 굴이 있고 공중의 새들도 둥지가 있지만 

but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head."

인자(그 사람의 그 아들)는 그의 머리를 누일 장소가 없다."고 대답하셨다.

9:59 He said to another man, "Follow me." 

그는 다른 사람에게 "나를 따르라."고 말씀하셨다.

But the man replied, "Lord, first let me go and bury my father."

그 사람은 "주님, 우선 나로 가서 내 아버지를 장사하게 해 주소서."라고 대답했다.

9:60 Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, 

예수께서 그에게 "죽은 자들이 그들의 죽은 자를 매장하게 하라

but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God."

그러나 너는 가서 하나님의 나라를 선포하라."고 말씀하셨다.

9:61 Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; 

여전히 다른 사람이 "나는 당신을 따를 것입니다. 주님

but first let me go back and say good-by to my family."

그러나 우선 내가 돌아가서 가족에게 작별인사를 하도록 해주십시오."라고 말했다.

9:62 Jesus replied, 예수께서 대답하셨다.

"No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."

"쟁기를 잡고 뒤를 돌아보는 사람은 하나님 나라에 합당하지 않다."
