Our primary staff ventured into the forest for hands-on training designed to deepen their outdoor learning practice—part of our ongoing commitment to upskilling our team and enriching outdoor learning across the school.

e’re excited to share that Forest School is now expanding to include Early Years, meaning learners from Early Years to Year 6 can now benefit from the immersive, nature-based experiences the forest offers.

Our programme is led by a passionate team of five accredited teachers—Maddy, Mayuri, Rob, Pete, and Harriet—all Level 3 certified. Each phase (Early Years, Middle Years, and Upper Years) has a dedicated leader fostering curiosity, confidence, and connection through outdoor learning.

Spending time in nature helps children rekindle their connection with the natural world, while also understanding their role in protecting it for generations to come. As the saying goes, “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”

We believe the forest is a classroom like no other—where every leaf, trail, and tree invites learning, wonder, and growth.

포레스트 스쿨이 이제 얼리 이어즈(Early Years)를 포함하도록 확장되고 있다는 소식을 전하게 되어 기쁩니다. 이는 얼리 이어즈부터 6학년까지의 학습자들이 이제 포레스트가 제공하는 몰입형 자연 기반 경험의 혜택을 누릴 수 있게 되었다는 것을 의미합니다.
저희 프로그램은 매디, 마유리, 롭, 피트, 해리엇 등 5명의 공인 교사들로 구성된 열정적인 팀이 이끌고 있으며, 모두 레벨 3 인증을 받았습니다. 각 단계(초기, 중기, 고등학교)에는 야외 학습을 통해 호기심, 자신감, 연결을 키우는 헌신적인 리더가 있습니다.
자연에서 시간을 보내는 것은 아이들이 자연 세계와의 연결을 다시 점화하는 동시에 앞으로 세대를 이어가며 자연을 보호하는 데 있어 아이들의 역할을 이해하는 데 도움이 됩니다. "우리는 조상으로부터 지구를 물려받은 것이 아니라 자녀로부터 지구를 빌립니다."라는 말이 있듯이 말입니다
우리는 숲이 다른 어떤 곳과도 비교할 수 없는 교실이라고 믿습니다. 모든 나뭇잎, 산책로, 나무가 배움과 경이로움, 성장을 초대합니다.
