Isaiah 33:22

22. 대저 여호와는 우리 재판장이시요 여호와는 우리에게 율법을 세우신 이요 여호와는 우리의 왕이시니 그가 우리를 구원하실 것임이라

For the LORD is our judge,

the LORD is our lawgiver,

the LORD is our king;

it is he who will save us.

John 9:39-41

39. 예수께서 이르시되 내가 심판하러 이 세상에 왔으니 보지 못하는 자들은 보게 하고 보는 자들은 맹인이 되게 하려 함이라 하시니

Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

40. 바리새인 중에 예수와 함께 있던 자들이 이 말씀을 듣고 이르되 우리도 맹인인가

Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”

41. 예수께서 이르시되 너희가 맹인이 되었더라면 죄가 없으려니와 본다고 하니 너희 죄가 그대로 있느니라

Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.

욥기 19장

1. 욥이 대답하여 이르되

Then Job replied:

2. 너희가 내 마음을 괴롭히며 말로 나를 짓부수기를 어느 때까지 하겠느냐

“How long will you torment me

and crush me with words?

3. 너희가 열 번이나 나를 학대하고도 부끄러워 아니하는구나

Ten times now you have reproached me;

shamelessly you attack me.

4. 비록 내게 허물이 있다 할지라도 그 허물이 내게만 있느냐

If it is true that I have gone astray,

my error remains my concern alone.

5. 너희가 참으로 나를 향하여 자만하며 내게 수치스러운 행위가 있다고 증언하려면 하려니와

If indeed you would exalt yourselves above me

and use my humiliation against me,

6. 하나님이 나를 억울하게 하시고 자기 그물로 나를 에워싸신 줄을 알아야 할지니라

then know that God has wronged me

and drawn his net around me.

7. ○내가 폭행을 당한다고 부르짖으나 응답이 없고 도움을 간구하였으나 정의가 없구나

“Though I cry, ‘Violence!’ I get no response;

though I call for help, there is no justice.

8. 그가 내 길을 막아 지나가지 못하게 하시고 내 앞길에 어둠을 두셨으며

He has blocked my way so I cannot pass;

he has shrouded my paths in darkness.

9. 나의 영광을 거두어가시며 나의 관모를 머리에서 벗기시고

He has stripped me of my honor

and removed the crown from my head.

10. 사면으로 나를 헐으시니 나는 죽었구나 내 희망을 나무 뽑듯 뽑으시고

He tears me down on every side till I am gone;

he uproots my hope like a tree.

11. 나를 향하여 진노하시고 원수 같이 보시는구나

His anger burns against me;

he counts me among his enemies.

12. 그 군대가 일제히 나아와서 길을 돋우고 나를 치며 내 장막을 둘러 진을 쳤구나

His troops advance in force;

they build a siege ramp against me

and encamp around my tent.

13. ○나의 형제들이 나를 멀리 떠나게 하시니 나를 아는 모든 사람이 내게 낯선 사람이 되었구나

“He has alienated my family from me;

my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.

14. 내 친척은 나를 버렸으며 가까운 친지들은 나를 잊었구나

My relatives have gone away;

my closest friends have forgotten me.

15. 내 집에 머물러 사는 자와 내 여종들은 나를 낯선 사람으로 여기니 내가 그들 앞에서 타국 사람이 되었구나

My guests and my female servants count me a foreigner;

they look on me as on a stranger.

16. 내가 내 종을 불러도 대답하지 아니하니 내 입으로 그에게 간청하여야 하겠구나

I summon my servant, but he does not answer,

though I beg him with my own mouth.

17. 내 아내도 내 숨결을 싫어하며 내 허리의 자식들도 나를 가련하게 여기는구나

My breath is offensive to my wife;

I am loathsome to my own family.

18. 어린 아이들까지도 나를 업신여기고 내가 일어나면 나를 조롱하는구나

Even the little boys scorn me;

when I appear, they ridicule me.

19. 나의 가까운 친구들이 나를 미워하며 내가 사랑하는 사람들이 돌이켜 나의 원수가 되었구나

All my intimate friends detest me;

those I love have turned against me.

20. 내 피부와 살이 뼈에 붙었고 남은 것은 겨우 잇몸 뿐이로구나

I am nothing but skin and bones;

I have escaped only by the skin of my teeth.

21. 나의 친구야 너희는 나를 불쌍히 여겨다오 나를 불쌍히 여겨다오 하나님의 손이 나를 치셨구나

“Have pity on me, my friends, have pity,

for the hand of God has struck me.

22. 너희가 어찌하여 하나님처럼 나를 박해하느냐 내 살로도 부족하냐

Why do you pursue me as God does?

Will you never get enough of my flesh?

23. ○나의 말이 곧 기록되었으면, 책에 씌어졌으면,

“Oh, that my words were recorded,

that they were written on a scroll,

24. 철필과 납으로 영원히 돌에 새겨졌으면 좋겠노라

that they were inscribed with an iron tool on lead,

or engraved in rock forever!

25. 내가 알기에는 나의 대속자가 살아 계시니 마침내 그가 땅 위에 서실 것이라

I know that my redeemer lives,

and that in the end he will stand on the earth.

26. 내 가죽이 벗김을 당한 뒤에도 내가 육체 밖에서 하나님을 보리라

And after my skin has been destroyed,

yet in my flesh I will see God;

27. 내가 그를 보리니 내 눈으로 그를 보기를 낯선 사람처럼 하지 않을 것이라 내 마음이 초조하구나

I myself will see him

with my own eyes—I, and not another.

How my heart yearns within me!

28. 너희가 만일 이르기를 우리가 그를 어떻게 칠까 하며 또 이르기를 일의 뿌리가 그에게 있다 할진대

“If you say, ‘How we will hound him,

since the root of the trouble lies in him,’

29. 너희는 칼을 두려워 할지니라 분노는 칼의 형벌을 부르나니 너희가 심판장이 있는 줄을 알게 되리라

you should fear the sword yourselves;

for wrath will bring punishment by the sword,

and then you will know that there is judgment.”
