hit rock bottom, 최악의 상태에 다다르다

Good morning!

Today's English expression‎ is :  hit rock bottom. 

                                         의미 : 삶에서 최악의 상태에 다다르다

Hit rock bottom means to reach a point in life where things could not get any worse. 

Here is an example conversation: 

Person A:  Ryan, what's going on with you?  Is everything okay?
Person B:  No, everything is terrible.  I lost my job and the government took my house

                  because I couldn't pay for it.  On top of that, my grandma just passed away last week

                  and because of that I feel like I've really hit rock bottom. 
Person A:  Well, if this is the worst, then it can only get better from here, right??

A:  Ryan, what's going on with you?  Is everything okay?
          Ryan, 무슨일이야? 괜찮아?

B:  No, everything is terrible.  I lost my job and the government took my house

     because I couldn't pay for it.  On top of that, my grandma just passed away last week

     and because of that I feel like I've really hit rock bottom.
          아니. 모든상황이 끔찍해. 직작을 잃었고, 돈을 못 갚아서, 정부가 내 집을 빼았아 갔어.

          설상가상으로, 할머니가 지난주에 돌아가셨어. 내 삶에서 정말 최악의 상태에 있는 것 같아.  

 A:  Well, if this is the worst, then it can only get better from here, right??
          자, 이것이 최악이라면, 이제부터 더 좋아지지 않겠어. 그렇지?

네~ 모든것이 마음 먹기 달렸 다는거네요 최악이란 상황에서 올라 갈일만 남았다고 생각하던지 포기하던지... 지혜로운 선택은 내 몫이군요 노대통령님도 봉화산 기슭에서 I've really hit rock bottom 이란 생각을 하셨나봐요 ... 삼가 명복을 빕니다 ㅠ.ㅠ
