A Puff of Wind vs A Red Dragonfly

One red dragonfly

Flying around the platform in the back garden

For crocks of sauces and condiments Jangdokdae

Inside the open jar

Wondering how the soy sauce tastes in it

Then a puff of wind comes to say

No No

Pushing it away.

One red dragonfly

Flying out to the front yard

Some laundry hanging on a clothesline

To see if it’s all dry

Then a puff of wind comes to say again

No No

Pushing it away.

바람과 고추잠자리

고추잠자리 한 마리

뒤란 장독대로 가서

열어 둔 장독 속

장맛 좀 알아보려 하자

바람이

안 돼 안 돼

떠밀어냅니다.

고추잠자리 한 마리

마당으로 나와

빨랫줄에 널린 빨래

다 말랐는지 알아보려 하자

바람이, 또

안 돼 안 돼

떠밀어냅니다.

Appreciation Review 感想

A red dragonfly!!!

Just hearing the name makes me feel nostalgic, and a clear picture is drawn before my eyes.

A red dragonfly flying over the crock pot in the backyard is trying to get into the open jar.

Then the wind blows and pushes it here and there.

A red dragonfly on top of the laundry hanging on the clothesline in the yard is flying here and there.

Then the wind blows and sways it back and forth.

What a friendly and warm scene!

The wind seems to be blowing in order to stop the dragonfly from entering an open jar.

The wind seems to be blowing in order to prevent the dragonfly from sitting on hanging laundry.

The poet portrays it like this & like that.

It's so touching and funny that it brings tears to my eyes.

It’s such a wonderful poem!!!
