Rare Albino Alligators Born in Brazil.
They look just like their brothers and sisters, except different. These alligators born a month ago at Federal University of Mato Grosso Zoo in Brazil came out of their shell about the same color as one. Their yellow eyes and whitish yellow skin don't make for good camouflage. Biologists say albino alligators may have a hard time living alongside their normal skin counterparts, though not enough is known to say that for sure. Scientists are excited by their birth because it gives them a chance to see how the pale reptiles fare in the wild.

Reuters : Gay Storks Raise Chicks
In western mythologies, storks are known for safely delivering newly born children. Now a Dutch zoo has discovered that those feint nurturing qualities extend to the gay of the species. Three homosexual stork couples at the Overloon Park are raising and caring for some chicks. According to the zoo's manager, homosexuality is not uncommon in the animal world, but the fact that these couples are raising young together is.
"Well, we recently find out...found out that some of our storks have formed gay couples. We have two homosexual couples and one lesbian couple."
What's still a bit of a mystery is how the storks, especially the males, came to have eggs.
"Well, if the female stork has left a nest.. and then two homosexual males have taken their place. But it would be the same passion and the same determinations to raise the youngsters."
perts say most homosexual behavior in wild animals is limited to mating rituals, but these caring couples could perhaps turn those opinions around.
