○ EAI Internship Program
EAI offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. We are waiting for your passionate interest in social science regardless of major. EAI interns have opportunity to attend and observe international conference, seminars, and forums held by EAI. Moreover, EAI offers a Monday intern seminar from noon to 1:30 pm to provide educational incentives to interns. During the seminar, interns share casual conversation together for half an hour followed by lectures of EAI full-time staff.
○ EAI Organization
§ Peace and Security Research Unit conducts research projects on the effects of the changing world order on military and security issues, as well as regional relationships in East Asia. It oversees the activities of the Middle Powers Research Team, National Security Panel, China Research Panel, FTA 2.0 Research Team, and U.S.-ROK Cooperation for Global Nuclear Governance Research Team.
§ Public Opinion Research Unit has been analyzing and assessing the Korean public’s opinion on various security issues such as the Korea-US alliance and the North Korean nuclear crisis.
§ External Affairs Unit is responsible for hosting EAI’s international conferences, forums and seminars which enable the discussion and debate amongst scholars and experts in various fields in order to produce more efficient strategies and policy alternatives on the main issues and challenges in the region.
§ Publications Unit is in charge of publishing EAI research outcomes that includes the Journal of East Asian Studies, working papers, issue briefings and books.
§ Administration and Finance Unit is responsible for the administrative tasks as well as financial operations.
