The title of the book is A Special Report from Billy Redcloud.
I think the main characters are bird (Bird), Owl (the Owl), Billy, and his father.
Billy was sad because he didn't have time to go to the library for his report.
Billy had to explain why there is day and night in his report.
Billy's father promised to tell Billy an old indian (Indian) story for his report.
The story happened when there were only birds and animals in the world.
Rabbit said there was not enough light, so he should use his magic to make more light.
However, Owl disagreed and said that was (there was) enough light in the world.
So Rabbit decided to call a council to discuss whether was (there was) enough light.
All the animals and birds came and sat around the council fire.
Some of the animals were on Rbbit's (Rabbit's) side, and some of the animals were on owl's (Owl's) side.
Rabbit and Owl started to use their magic, but their tongues slipped, and they made mistakes.
Neither Owl nor Rabbit won, so that's why there is day and night in the world today.
The next day, when Billy told the story in science class, his teacher and friends liked it.
I think this book is fun.
