Bible Reading - Luke 11:31~38

11:31 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them; 남방의 여왕은 심판 날에 이 세대의 사람들과 함께 일어나 그들을 정죄할 것이다.

for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon's wisdom, and now one greater than Solomon is here.그녀는 솔로몬의 지혜를 듣기 위해 땅끝에서 왔는데, 이제 솔로몬보다 더 위대한 분이 여기에 있다.

11:32 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; 

니느웨 사람들이 이 세대의 사람들과 함께 심판날에 일어날 것이며 그것을 정죄할 것이다. 

for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here.

그들은 요나의 설교를 듣고 회개 했으며 이제 요나보다 더 큰 자가 여기에 있다.

11:33 "No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl.

누구도 등불을 켜고 눈에 띄지 않는 곳이나 그릇 아래에 두지는 않는다.

Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light.

그는 오히려 그것을 받침대 위에 놓아 들어오는 사람들이 빛을 볼 수 있도록 한다.

11:34 Your eye is the lamp of your body. 너의 눈은 너의 몸의 등불이다. 

When your eyes are good, 너의 눈이 좋을 때

 your whole body also is full of light. 너의 전체 몸이 또한 빛으로 가득찬다.

But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness.

그러나 그들이 나쁠 때, 너의 몸 또한 어둠으로 가득찬다.

11:35 See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.

그러므로 너희   안에 있는 빛이 어둠이 되지 않도록 하라.

11:36 Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, 

그러므로 만일 너희 온 몸이 빛으로 가득차있고 어둠이 전혀 없다면

it will be completely lighted, 그곳은 완전히 환하게 밝혀질 것이다.

as when the light of a lamp shines on you." 마치 등불 빛이 너를 비추는 것처럼

11:37 When Jesus had finished speaking, 예수께서 말씀을 마치셨을 때

a Pharisee invited him to eat with him; 바리새인 한 사람이 그와 함께 식사하려고 그를 초대했다.

so he went in and reclined at the table. 그래서 그는 들어가서 식탁에 몸을 기울였다.

11:38 But the Pharisee, noticing that Jesus did not first wash before the meal, was surprised.

그러나 그 바리새인은 예수께서 식사 전에 우선 씻지 않는 것을 주목하고서 놀랐다.
