Bible Reading - Luke 11:39~46

11:39 Then the Lord said to him, 그때 주께서 그에게 말씀하셨다.

"Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, 

그러면 이제 너희 바리새인들은 컵과 접시의 외부는 깨끗하게 하나

but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. 너희 안에는 탐욕과 사악함이 가득하다.

11:40 You foolish people! 너희 어리석은 사람들아.

Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?

외부를 만드신 분이 내부도 만들지 않으셨느냐?

11:41 But give what is inside the dish to the poor,

그러나 가난한 자들에게 그 접시 안에 있는 것을 주어라,

and everything will be clean for you. 그러면 모든 것이 너희를 위해 깨끗하여질 것이다. 

11:42 "Woe to you Pharisees, 바리새인 너희들에게 화가 있을진저

because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, 

왜냐하면 너희는 박하와 근채와 그 밖의 모든 정원 허브의 십일조를 하나님께 드린다.

but you neglect justice and the love of God. 그러나 너희는 의와 하나님의 사랑을 저버렸다.

You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.

앞의 것을 소홀히 하지 않고 나중의 것도 실천했어야 했다.

11:43 "Woe to you Pharisees, 너희 바리새인들에게 화 있을진저

because you love the most important seats in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces. 

왜냐하면 너희는 회당에서 가장 중요한 자리를 사랑하며 시장에서 인사를 받는 것을 좋아한다.

11:44 "Woe to you, 너희에게 화있을진저

because you are like unmarked graves, which men walk over without knowing it."

너희는 마치 이름 없는 무덤과 같아서 사람들이 그 위를 밟고 지나가면서도 그것을 알지 못하기 때문이다.

11:45 One of the experts in the law answered him,율법사 중의 한 사람이 그에게 대답하기를 

"Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also."

"선생님, 당신이 이러한 것들을 말할 때, 당신은 우리 또한 모욕합니다."

11:46 Jesus replied, "And you experts in the law, woe to you, 

예수께서 대답하시기를  "그리고 너희 율법사들아, 너희에게 화가 있으라.

because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry,

왜냐하면 너희는 사람들이 거의 짐을 짊어질 수 없는 부담으로 사람들에게 짐지우기 때문이다.

and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.

그리고 너희 자신들은 그들을 도우려고 손가락 하나 까딱하지 않을 것이다.
