Bible Reading - Luke 11:47~54

47. “Woe to you, 너희에게 화가 있으라.
because you build tombs for the prophets, 너희가 선지자들을 위해 무덤을 만들었기 때문에
and it was your ancestors who killed them. 그리고 그들을 죽인 것은 너희 조상들이었다.

48. So you testify that you approve of what your ancestors did;
그래서 너희는 너희 조상들이 했던 것을 시인한다는 것을 증거한다.
they killed the prophets, and you build their tombs. 그들은 선지자들을 죽였고 너희들은 그들의 무덤을 만들었다.

49. Because of this, 이것때문에
God in his wisdom said, 하나님은 그의 지혜로 말씀하셨다.
‘I will send them prophets and apostles, 나는 그들에게 선지자들과 사도들을 보낼 것이며
some of whom they will kill 그들 중에 얼마를 그들은 죽일 것이며
and others they will persecute.’ 다른 선지자들을 그들은 박해할 것이다.

50. Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world, 50. 그러므로 이 세대는 세상이 시작된 이후로 흘려진 모든 선지자들의 피에 대한 책임을 져야 할 것이다.

51. from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. 아벨의 피로부터 제단과 성소 사이에서 죽임을 당했던 사가랴의 피까지 이니라.
Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all.
그렇다, 내가 너희에게 말하노니 이 세대가 그 모든 것에 대해 책임을 져야 할 것이다.

52. “Woe to you experts in the law, 율법 전문가들 너희에게 화가 있으라.
because you have taken away the key to knowledge. 너희들이 지식의 열쇠를 빼앗아 갔기 때문이다.
You yourselves have not entered,
너희 자신들은 들어가지 않고
and you have hindered those who were entering.”들어가고자 하는 자들을 훼방했다.

53. When Jesus went outside,
예수께서 밖으로 나가셨을 때
the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to oppose him fiercely and to besiege him with questions, 바리새인들과 율법 선생들이 맹렬히 그를 반대하며 질문들로 그를 둘러싸기 시작했다.

54 waiting to catch him in something he might say.
그가 무슨 말을 할지 기다렸다가 그 말을 포착하려고.
