잠언27장 말씀.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 잠언 27장

1. 너는 내일을 자랑하지 말라. 하루 동안에 무슨 일이 일어날지 네가 알지 못하느니라.

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. 

2. 다른 사람이 너를 칭찬하게 하고 네 입으로는 하지 말며 낯선 자가 너를 칭찬하게 하고 네 입술로는 하지 말지니라.

Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

3. 돌은 무겁고 모래도 무게가 있으나 어리석은 자의 진노는 그 둘보다 무거우니라.

A stone [is] heavy, and the sand weighty; but a fools wrath [is] heavier than them both. 

4. 진노는 잔인하고 분노는 포악하거니와 시기 앞에야 누가 능히 서리요?

Wrath [is] cruel, and anger [is] outrageous; but who [is] able to stand before envy? 

5. 드러내어 꾸짖는 것이 은밀하게 사랑하는 것보다 나으니라.

Open rebuke [is] better than secret love.

6. 친구가 주는 상처는 신뢰할 수 있으나 원수의 입맞춤은 속임수가 가득하니라.

Faithful [are] the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy [are] deceitful. 

7. 배부른 혼은 벌집도 싫어하나 주린 혼에게는 쓴 것도 모두 다니라.

The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. 

8. 자기 처소를 떠나 떠도는 자는 자기 보금자리를 떠나 떠도는 새와 같으니라.

As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so [is] a man that wandereth from his place.

9. 향유와 향수가 마음을 기쁘게 하나니 이처럼 마음에서 우러난 친구의 권고도 사람에게 달콤하니라.

Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so [doth] the sweetness of a mans friend by hearty counsel. 

10. 네 친구와 네 아버지의 친구를 저버리지 말며 네 재난의 날에 네 형제의 집에 들어가지 말라. 가까이 있는 이웃이

      멀리 있는 형제보다 나으니라.

Thine own friend, and thy fathers friend, forsake not; neither go into thy brothers house in the day of thy calamity: [for] better [is] a neighbour [that is] near than a brother far off.

11. 내 아들아, 지혜로운 자가 되어 내 마음을 즐겁게 하라. 그리하면 나를 모욕하는 자에게 내가 대답하리라.

My son, be wise, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him that reproacheth me.

12. 분별 있는 자는 재앙을 미리 보고 숨거니와 단순한 자는 나가다가 벌을 받느니라.

A prudent [man] foreseeth the evil, [and] hideth himself; [but] the simple pass on, [and] are punished.

13. 낯선 자를 위해 보증을 선 자의 옷을 취하고 낯선 여자를 위해 보증을 선 자에게서 담보물을 취하라.

Take his garment that is surety for a stranger, and take a pledge of him for a strange woman.

14. 아침에 일찍 일어나 큰 소리로 자기 친구를 축복하면 그가 그것을 도리어 저주로 여기리라.

He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.

15. 비가 몹시 오는 날에 계속해서 떨어지는 물방울과 다투기를 좋아하는 여자는 같으니

A continual dropping in a very rainy day and a contentious woman are alike.

16. 누구든지 그녀를 숨기는 자는 바람을 숨기며 오른손의 향유 곧 저절로 새는 향유를 숨기느니라.

Whosoever hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, [which] bewrayeth [itself].

17. 쇠가 쇠를 예리하게 하는 것 같이 사람이 자기 친구의 얼굴을 예리하게 하느니라.

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

18. 누구든지 무화과나무를 지키는 자가 그것의 열매를 먹는 것 같이 자기 주인을 모시는 자는 존귀하게 되리라.

Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.

19. 물에서 얼굴이 얼굴과 일치하는 것 같이 사람의 마음도 사람과 일치하느니라.

As in water face [answereth] to face, so the heart of man to man.

20. 지옥과 멸망이 결코 가득 차지 아니하는 것 같이 사람의 눈도 결코 만족하지 아니하느니라.

Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied. 

21. 도가니로 은을, 용광로로 금을 시험하듯 칭찬으로 사람을 시험하느니라.

[As] the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so [is] a man to his praise.

22. 네가 비록 어리석은 자를 절구에 넣고 밀과 함께 공이로 찧을지라도 그의 어리석음은 그를 떠나지 아니하리라.

Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, [yet] will not his foolishness depart from him.

23. 너는 네 양 떼의 형편을 부지런히 알아보며 네 소 떼를 잘 보살피라.

Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, [and] look well to thy herds. 

24. 재물은 영원히 있지 아니하니 왕관이 지속되어 모든 세대에 이르느냐?

For riches [are] not for ever: and doth the crown [endure] to every generation? 

25. 마른풀이 나타나고 연한 풀이 스스로 돋으며 산의 채소들이 거두어지나니

The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered.

26. 어린양들은 네 옷이 되며 염소들은 밭 값이 되고

The lambs [are] for thy clothing, and the goats [are] the price of the field.

27. 네게 염소의 젖이 넉넉하여 네 음식과 네 집안사람들의 음식과 네 여종들의 먹을 것이 되리라.

And [thou shalt have] goats milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and [for] the maintenance for thy maidens.
