바람이 비릿하게 불어오는 해안가. 거대한 파도가 으르렁대며 밀려오고, 그 사이로 기이하게 뒤틀린 형체들이 모습을 드러낸다. 비늘에 뒤덮인 사하킨들이 뾰족한 창을 움켜쥐고 물가를 향해 뛰쳐나오고, 크렁크들이 푸르스름하게 젖은 근육을 부르르 떨며 너희를 향해 울부짖는다. 그들 뒤편, 바다 밑에서는 더 크고 더 음침한 무언가가 꿈틀거린다.

블루 드래곤, 이름 없는 그 존재는 푸른 비늘에 하늘빛 전기가 뻗친 채, 몸을 크게 들어올린다. 바다를 등지고 솟아오르며 그는 우렁차게 외친다.

“썬더 콜!”

번개의 고동이 해안선을 따라 울려 퍼지고, 하늘에서 내리꽂힌 천둥이 바다 위로 내려앉는다. 강력한 전류가 바닷물에 퍼지며 사하킨 무리들이 비명을 지르듯 몸부림친다. 해초처럼 뒤얽힌 팔과 촉수들이 경련하듯 풀어지고, 해안가의 바위들이 그 충격으로 갈라진다.

너와 동료들은 곧바로 전투에 뛰어든다. 바다 괴수들은 너희를 포위하려 하지만, 블루 드래곤이 만들어낸 얼음의 벽이 그들의 돌진을 막아낸다. 파도 속에서 드러나는 고대의 수중 생물—촉수 달린 갑각 괴물들이 너희에게 물세례와 창날을 뿌려대지만, 드래곤의 전기 브레스가 하늘에서 쏟아져 내려 그들을 꿰뚫는다.

사제는 물러서며 부서진 바위 틈에 마법진을 그린다.

“이들의 진입로는 저기, 해안 너머의 해저 동굴 쪽이야! 그곳에서 무언가 나오고 있어…!”

바람은 불어오고, 드래곤은 다시 전신에 전류를 띠며 하늘을 난다.

“너희가 그 동굴을 막아. 난 하늘에서 그들을 몰아내겠다.”

전투는 계속된다. 바다와 하늘이 뒤엉키고, 전기와 얼음, 그리고 파도의 분노가 해안가를 가르며 불타오른다. 이 전투는 단순한 방어가 아니다. 그것은 감염과 타락을 퍼뜨리는 괴수들의 진군을 막아내는, 진정한 저지선이었다.

이제 남은 것은 저 어두운 동굴, 바다의 밑바닥에 숨겨진 무언가를 밝혀내는 일이다.

그 안에 마굴의 입구가 있을까?

해안의 전투가 겨우 마무리되었을 무렵, 바닷물 틈 사이로 드러난 동굴 입구가 보였다. 해류가 잠깐 잠잠해진 틈을 타 너희는 그곳으로 들어섰다. 입구는 미끄럽고 축축했으며, 깊은 물수로처럼 이어져 있었다. 벽은 해초와 조개껍데기로 뒤덮여 있었고, 안개처럼 물방울이 공기 중을 떠돌았다.

그리고 곧, 그 물수로 마굴의 안쪽에서부터 기이한 숨소리와 물살을 가르는 소리가 들려왔다.

처음에는 작고 흐릿했지만, 점점 가까워지고, 무겁고, 끈적한 느낌으로 다가왔다.

“저거 뭐야… 다리 많은 괴물이야?”

어둠 속에서 기어나온 건, 등껍질 위에 산호와 불가사리를 얹은 거대 게형 괴물, 그 주위로 물에 젖은 해양 슬라임들이 끈적한 체액을 뿜으며 꿈틀댄다. 녹색과 푸른빛의 불규칙한 육체들, 물속을 유영하는 독성 해파리 같은 괴물들이 그들 뒤를 따른다.

그리고 마굴 깊은 곳에서, 갑자기 부글거리는 소리와 함께 바닥이 흔들렸다. 거대한 촉수, 그리고 그 중심에서 벌어진 이형의 입. 마치 바다의 악몽이 엉켜있는 듯한 형상. 그 안에서 하나의 음성이 속삭인다.

블루 드래곤이 너희 뒤편을 보호하며 외친다.

전기가 다시 하늘에서 쏟아지고, 너는 검을, 마법을, 화살을 휘두르며 맞선다. 물결이 휘몰아치고, 슬라임이 벽을 타고 내려오고, 촉수는 틈을 타 공격을 퍼붓는다.

이것은 단순한 싸움이 아니라, 오염 그 자체와의 전쟁이었다.

“이 마굴을 정화하지 않으면, 계속이럴거야

전투는 이제부터다.

너희는 이 어둠과 습한 물의 심연 속에서, 끝을 향해 달려간다.

괴물들이 몰려온다.

A seafront where the wind is shining. A huge wave roars in, and bizarrely twisted shapes emerge between them. The scaly Sahakins run out towards the water, clutching their pointed spears, and the crunks wail at you, trembling their bluishly wet muscles. Behind them, beneath the sea, something bigger and more somber wriggles.

The blue dragon, the nameless being, lifts his body loudly, with sky-high electricity extended on blue scales. Rising up with his back to the sea, he shouts loudly.

"Thunder, call!"

The throbbing of lightning rumbles along the coastline, and thunder falling from the sky falls over the sea. A powerful electric current spreads through the seawater, and the Sahakin group struggles like screaming. Like seaweed, tangled arms and tentacles twitch, and the rocks along the coast are split by the impact.

​

You and your companions immediately enter the battle. Sea monsters try to surround you, but the wall of ice created by the Blue Dragon blocks their rush. Ancient underwater creatures revealed in the waves—tactile crustaceans spray you with water baptisms and spear blades, but dragon electric Breaths pour down from the sky and penetrate them.

The priest backs down and draws a magic trick between the broken rocks.

"Their driveway is over there, over the coast, towards an undersea cave! Something's coming out of there...!”

​

The wind blows, and the dragon flies in the sky with an electric current all over again.

"You block the cave. I'll drive them out of the sky."

​

The battle continues. The sea and the sky are intertwined, and the anger of electricity, ice, and waves burns through the waterfront. This battle is not just a defense. It was a true cordon, keeping out the advance of monsters that spread infection and depravity.

What's left now is to uncover something hidden in that dark cave, at the bottom of the ocean.

Is there an entrance to the Magul in there?

When the battle on the coast was finally over, you could see the entrance to the cave exposed through the cracks of the sea water. You entered while the current was briefly quiet. The entrance was slippery and wet, and it was connected like a deep channel of water. The walls were covered with seaweed and shells, and water droplets floated through the air like mist.

​

And soon, the water came from the inside of the machul, the strange breathing sound and the sound of separating the current.

It was small and fuzzy at first, but it came closer, heavy and sticky.

​

"What is that... Is it a monster with many legs?"

Climbing out of the darkness is a giant crab-shaped monster with coral and starfish on its shell, and watery marine slimes wriggle around it, releasing sticky fluid. Green and blue irregular bodies, toxic jellyfish-like monsters swimming in the water, follow them.

​

And deep in the cave, the floor shook with a sudden bubbling sound. A huge tentacle, and a heterogeneous mouth that opened at its center. A figure of the sea's nightmare intertwined. Inside, a single voice whispers.

​

Blue Dragon shouts, protecting your back.

​

Electricity is pouring back from the sky, and you confront with a sword, a magic, an arrow. Waves swirl, slime comes down the wall, and tentacles take advantage of the gap to unleash attacks.

This was not just a fight, it was a war against pollution itself.
