드래곤들은 호수 한가운데 거대한 균열을 발견했다.

깊은 심연처럼 벌어진 틈새는, 마치 바다로 이어지는 문 같았다.

그들은 몸을 숙여 그 틈 속으로 들어갔다.

안쪽은 물이 가득 차 있지 않았다.

동굴과 신전이 뒤섞인 듯한 거대한 공간,

벽에는 바다 생물들의 해골과 고대 룬이 새겨져 있었다.

공기는 축축했지만, 호흡은 가능했다.

레드 드래곤: “이게… 호수 밑이라니?

그런데 물이 없군. 대신… 피 냄새와 바다 비린내가 뒤섞여 있어.”

블랙 드래곤: “이건 그저 호수가 아니었어.

오래전부터, 다른 무언가가 자리잡은 공간이지.”

세이렌과 물의 정령들

그 순간, 바위 벽에서 수많은 그림자가 풀려나왔다.

세이렌:

반은 인간, 반은 어류의 형상.

날카로운 송곳니와 창백한 피부, 축축히 젖은 머리칼을 늘어뜨리며,

입을 벌려 음산한 노래를 내뱉었다.

그 노래는 뼛속까지 파고들어 드래곤들의 마음을 흔들었다.

물의 정령들:

파도와 물보라가 형체를 이룬 괴물.

망토처럼 출렁이는 물결 속에서 주먹과 창이 쏟아져 나왔다.

불길은 금세 꺼지고, 어둠조차 흐려질 만큼 습한 힘을 가졌다.

레드 드래곤:

초조한 심장이 빠르게 뛰었다. 세이렌의 노래가 불길을 약화시키려 했지만,

그는 더 크게 포효하며 불꽃을 토했다.

“내 심장을 흔드는 건… 나 자신뿐이다!!”

붉은 화염이 세이렌 무리를 집어삼켰다.

블랙 드래곤:

무덤덤하게 어둠의 손을 뻗었다.

“노래로 죽음을 막을 순 없지.”

어둠이 세이렌의 몸을 붙잡아 땅에 내던지고, 애시드가 물의 정령들을 끓게 만들었다.

화이트 드래곤:

귀를 막듯 날개를 접고, 빛으로 동료들의 정신을 지켰다.

“노래를… 지워버릴게! 모두 집중해!”

은빛 광선이 울려 퍼지며 세이렌의 환영을 사라지게 했다.

세이렌의 노래는 점점 약해졌지만, 물의 정령들은 여전히 끝없이 솟아났다.

그들의 주먹은 파도처럼 몰려왔고, 신전은 전장으로 변했다.

Fist and spears poured out of the flowing waves like a cloak.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and even the darkness was humid enough to blur.

He roared louder and threw up flames.

Black Dragon:

Darkness seized Seyren's body and threw him to the ground, and Acid made the water spirits boil.

White Dragon:

He folded his wings as if he were covering his ears and kept his colleagues' spirits with light.

"The song... I'll erase it! Everyone, focus!"

Silver rays reverberated and made Seyren's vision disappear.
