I thank my Father for His gifts to me.

나는 아버지가 주신 선물에 감사드린다.

1. Today let us be thankful. We have come to gentler pathways and to smoother roads. There is no thought of turning back and no implacable resistance to the truth. A bit of wavering remains, some small objections, and a little hesitance, but we can well be grateful for our gains, which are far greater than we realize.

1. 우리 오늘 감사하자. 우리는 보다 부드럽고 편안한 길에 도달했다. 돌아간다거나 진리에 완강히 저항하겠다는 생각은 하지 않는다. 약간의 주저함과 미약한 반감, 작은 망설임은 아직 남아있지만, 우리가 얻은 것에 대해 진심으로 감사할 수 있다. 그것은 우리가 알아차리는 것보다 훨씬 더 크다.

2. A day devoted now to gratitude will add the benefit of some insight into the real extent of all the gains which you have made; the gifts you have received. Be glad today in loving thankfulness your Father has not left you to yourself, nor let you wander in the dark alone. Be grateful He has saved you from the self you thought you made to take the place of Him and His creation. Give Him thanks today.

2. 네가 이제 하루를 감사하며 보낸다면, 그동안 얼마나 많은 것을 얻었고 얼마나 많은 선물을 받았는지 깨닫게 되는 혜택도 누리게 될 것이다. 아버지가 너를 외톨이로 남겨두지 않으셨고, 어둠 속을 홀로 방랑하게 하지도 않으셨음에 대해 사랑을 담아 감사드리며, 오늘 기뻐하라. 네가 아버지와 그분의 창조물을 대체하기 위해 만들었다고 생각한 자아에서 그분이 너를 구원하신 것에 대해 감사드려라. 오늘 아버지께 감사드려라.

3. Give thanks that He has not abandoned you and that His Love forever will remain shining on you, forever without change. Give thanks as well that you are changeless, for the Son He loves is changeless as Himself. Be grateful you are saved. Be glad you have a function in salvation to fulfill. Be thankful that your value far transcends your meager gifts and petty judgments of the one whom God established as His Son.

3. 아버지가 너를 버리지 않으셨으며, 그분의 사랑은 너를 영원토록 변함없이 비춰줄 것임에 대해 감사드려라. 너의 변함없음에 대해서도 감사드려라. 아버지가 사랑하시는 아들은 아버지처럼 변함없기 때문이다. 네가 구원되었음에 대해 감사드려라. 너에게 구원에서 이행할 기능이 있음에 대해 기뻐하라. 너의 가치는 하느님이 당신의 아들로 확립하신 자에게 주는 너의 빈약한 선물과 인색한 판단을 훨씬 넘어선다는 점에 대해서도 감사하라.

4. Today in gratitude we lift our hearts above despair and raise our thankful eyes, no longer looking downward to the dust. We sing the song of thankfulness today in honor of the Self Which God has willed to be our true identity in Him. Today we smile on everyone we see and walk with lightened footsteps as we go to do what is appointed us to do. We do not go alone. And we give thanks that in our solitude a Friend has come to speak the saving Word of God to us.

4. 오늘 우리는 감사하면서 우리의 가슴을 절망 위로 높이 들어올리고, 감사로 가득한 눈으로 저 위를 바라보면서 더 이상 저 아래의 먼지를 보지 않는다. 우리는 오늘 하느님이 당신 안에서 우리의 진정한 정체로 뜻하신 자아에게 경의를 표하며 감사의 노래를 부른다. 오늘 우리는 누구를 만나든 미소를 지어주며, 가벼운 발걸음으로 우리에게 예정된 일을 하러 간다. 우리는 홀로 가지 않는다. 그리고 우리는 우리의 외로움 안으로 친구가 들어와서, 하느님의 구원하는 말씀을 전해주는 것에 대해 감사드린다.

5. And thanks to you for listening to Him. His Word is soundless if it be not heard. In thanking Him the thanks are yours as well. An unheard message will not save the world, however mighty be the Voice that speaks, however loving may the message be. Thanks be to you who heard, for you become the messenger who brings His Voice with you and let it echo round and round the world.

5. 그리고 나는 그 친구의 말을 경청하는 것에 대해 너에게 감사한다. 듣는 이가 없다면, 그의 말은 아무 소리도 나지 않는다. 네가 그에게 감사할 때, 너 또한 감사를 받는다. 아무도 듣지 않는 메시지는 세상을 구할 수 없을 것이다. 그 메시지를 말하는 음성이 아무리 강력하고, 그 메시지가 아무리 사랑스럽더라도 말이다. 그것을 들은 너에게 감사한다. 너는 그의 음성을 가져와 세상 곳곳에 울려 퍼지게 하는 메신저가 되기 때문이다.

6. Receive the thanks of God today, as you give thanks to Him. For He would offer you the thanks you give, since He receives your gifts in loving gratitude and gives them back a thousand and a hundred thousand more than they were given. He will bless your gifts by sharing them with you, and so they grow in power and in strength until they fill the world with gladness and with gratitude.

6. 오늘 하느님께 감사를 드리면서, 그분의 감사를 받아라. 하느님은 네가 드리는 감사를 너에게 선사하시리라. 그분은 너의 선물을 사랑을 담아 감사히 받으시고, 그것을 수억 배로 돌려주시기 때문이다. 하느님은 너의 선물을 너와 공유하심으로써 축복하실 것이며, 따라서 그 권능과 힘은 점점 커져서 마침내 세상을 기쁨과 감사로 가득 채울 것이다.

7. Receive His thanks and offer yours to Him for 15 minutes twice today. And you will realize to Whom you offer thanks, and Whom He thanks as you are thanking Him. This holy half an hour given Him will be returned to you in terms of years for every second, power to save the world eons more quickly for your thanks to Him.

7. 오늘 15분 동안 두 번에 걸쳐, 하느님의 감사를 받고 너의 감사를 드리는 시간을 가져라. 그러면 네가 누구에게 감사를 드리는 것인지, 네가 하느님께 감사드릴 때 그분이 누구에게 감사하시는지 깨달을 것이다. 네가 하느님께 드리는 이 거룩한 30분은 매초마다 수년의 비율로 너에게 돌아올 것이다. 그것은 그분에 대한 너의 감사로 인해 세상을 수억 겁이나 더 빨리 구할 수 있는 권능이다.

8. Receive His thanks, and you will understand how lovingly He holds you in His Mind, how deep and limitless His care for you, how perfect is His gratitude to you. Remember hourly to think of Him and give Him thanks for everything He gave His Son that he might rise above the world remembering his Father and his Self.

8. 하느님의 감사를 받아라. 그러면 하느님이 너를 당신의 마음 안에 얼마나 사랑스럽게 간직하고 계시는지, 너에 대한 그분의 보살피심이 얼마나 깊고 무한한지, 너에 대한 그분의 감사가 얼마나 극진한지 이해할 것이다. 매시 정각마다 하느님을 생각하고, 그분이 당신의 아들에게 주신 모든 것에 감사하는 것을 잊지 말라. 그럼으로써 그는 자신의 아버지와 자아를 기억하면서 세상 저 위로 올라가리라.
