Bible Reading - Luke 12 : 21~31

12:21 "This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God."자기 자신을 위해 재물을 쌓아 두는 사람이라도 하나님 앞에서 부유하지 못하면 이와 같을 것이다.

12:22 Then Jesus said to his disciples: 그때 예수께서 그의 제자들에게 말씀하시기를 

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. 그러므로 내가 너희에게 말하는데, 너의 삶에 대해 걱정하지 말아라, 무엇을 먹을 것인지, 또는 너의 몸에 대하여 , 무엇을 입을 것인지 

12:23 Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.

삶은 음식 그 이상이며, 몸은 옷 그 이상이다.

12:24 Consider the ravens: 까마귀를 생각해 보라.

They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. 

그들은 심지도, 거두지도 않으며 저장고와 창고에 가지지 않으나 그러나 하나님께서 먹이신다.

And how much more valuable you are than birds!

그리고 얼마나 더욱더 너희는 새들보다 귀한가!

12:25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

너희들 중에 누가 걱정하므로 그의 생명에 한 시간이라도 더 보탤 수 있는가?

12:26 Since you cannot do this very little thing, 너희는 바로 이렇게 작은 것을 할 수 없기 때문에 

why do you worry about the rest? 왜 너희는 나머지 것들에 대해 걱정하는가?

12:27 "Consider how the lilies grow. 백합화가 어떻게 자라는가 생각해보라.

They do not labor or spin. 그들은 일하지도 실을 잣지도 않는다.

Yet I tell you, 그러나 내가 너희에게 말한다.

not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

심지어 솔로몬의 모든 영광조차 이것들 중에 하나와 같이 입혀지지 않았다.

12:28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!

오늘 있다가 내일 불에 던져지는 들풀도 하나님께서 이렇게 입히시거든 하물며 너희를 얼마나 더 잘 입히시겠느냐! 믿음이 적은 자들아..

12:29 And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.

무엇을 먹을 것인지 무엇을 마실 것인지 염려하지 말고, 그것에 대해 걱정하지 말라.

12:30 For the pagan world runs after all such things,

이교도 세계가 그런 모든 것들을 쫓기 때문이며

and your Father knows that you need them.

너희 아버지께서 네가 그것들을 필요로 한다는 것을 아신다.

12:31 But seek his kingdom, 그러나 그의 나라를 구하여라

and these things will be given to you as well.

그러면 이 모든 것들이 너희에게 또한 주어질 것이다.
