be able to -> 수동, 진행형 불가 관련문제요..

스파르타에 있는 문젠데 문제에 적용이 잘 안되요..

틀린곳 찾기

답: be able to 는 수동 진행 불가 : is not able to->cannot

이렇게 나왔거든요.

is  not able to 다음에  있는 be used 이게 수동이라서 틀린건가요??

be able to 자체가 수동이면 안된다는 뜻이 아니었나요??

답: 진행불가 being able to -> be able to

이렇게 나왔거든요.

그런데 앞에 was있으니까

he was scarcely able to - 이렇게 고치는것이 맞는겅가요?

be able to 사람을 주어로 사용, 사물 주어로 사용 몬함.... being을 생략하면 되겠네요..

[1. 주어]+ [2. be] able [3. to+R]에서 1은 사람주어만 가능, 2에는 진행형(be being)이 못오구요, 3에는 to be pp식의 수동형 to부정사가 못오네요. / 결국 Carbon-14 analysis~는 사물주어(X)에다 to 이하가 수동형to부정사인 to be+pp(X).. 두군데나 잘못되어 be able to를 쓸 수 있는 자리가 아닌..
