12:32 "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

두려워하지 마라, 작은 무리야. 너희 아버지께서 너희에게 왕국을 주시기를 기뻐하셨다.

12:33 Sell your possessions and give to the poor. 너의 소유를 팔아 가난한 자들에게 주어라.

Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

너 자신을 위해 낡지 않는 지갑을 마련하고, 도둑도 가까이 오지 못하고 좀도 먹지 못하는 하늘의 보물을 쌓아 두어라.

12:34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

너의 보물이 있는 곳에 너의 마음 또한 있을 것이다.

12:35 "Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning,

예배를 위해 옷을 준비하고 너의 등불을 켜두어라.

12:36 like men waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet,

마치 혼인 잔치에서 주인이 돌아오기를 기다리는 사람들처럼,

so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.

그래서 그가 와서 문을 두드리면 즉시 문을 열어줄 수 있도록 하기 위하여

12:37 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. 

I tell you the truth, 내가 진실을 말한다.

he will dress himself to serve, 그는 섬기려고 그 자신이 옷을 입을 것이다. 

will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.

그는 그들이 테이블에 편히 눕도록 하고 직접 와서 시중을 들 것이다.

12:38 It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready,

주인이 준비된 모습을 발견하는 종들에게는 좋은 일이 될 것이다.

even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night.

그가 밤의 이경이나 삼경에 온다고 해도 마찬가지이다.

12:39 But understand this: 그러나 이것을 이해하라.

If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, 

집주인이 도둑이 몇 시에 올지 알았더라면,

he would not have let his house be broken into.

그는 자기 집에 도둑이 드는 걸 그냥 두고 보지 않았을 것이다.

12:40 You also must be ready, 너희는 또한 준비되어야만 한다.

because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

인자가 네가 기대하지 않은 시간에 올 것이기 때문에 

12:42 The Lord answered, 주님께서 대답하셨다.

"Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?

그렇다면 주인이 자기 종들에게 제때에 양식을 나누어 주도록 맡긴 충실하고 지혜로운 관리자는 누구인가?
