A flower of the Desert:
We often think that a blooming flower in the desert is impossible. Too easily, we accept our circumstances and choose the easy way out. But can’t we make a flower bloom in the desert? Is it really unreal? Must we accept our circumstances as our unchangeable destiny?
History shows us that people have indeed made flowers bloom in the desert. I firmly believe that "Yes, we can bloom a flower in the desert." Positive thinking may be the key. There are countless records of how a positive mindset has changed lives for the better.
Positive thinking is tied to love, hope, belief, passion, and forgiveness. Many episodes in the Bible highlight this; lepers were healed, blind people regained their sight, and the deaf were able to hear. If we reflect on our own experiences, we can also recall instances that resemble flowers blooming in a desert. Such moments can be even more beautiful than flowers in a garden.
Can we inspire those who face difficulties to find hope and bloom like a flower in the desert?
