Come down and tell me if he loves me a little, because I cannot live without his love. 마뉴엘 퐁세(Manuel Ponce, 1882년 12월 8일 ~ 1948년 4월 24일)는멕시코의 오르간 연주자이며 작곡가이다. 생애 〈작은 별〉(Estrellita)의 작곡가로 널리 알려져 있다. 사카테카스 (Zacatecas)주의 페레스닐로 (Fresnillo)시에서 태어났다. 본업은 오르간 연주자였으나,멕시코 민요 가운데에서 아름다운 멜로디를 발굴한 뒤기타곡 등으로 편곡하여 소개했으며, 1948년에 멕시코시티에서 사망하였다. <작은별 (Estrellita)>, 이 곡은 '퐁세'가 야간 기차를 타고 고향을 지나가던 중 밤하늘의 별들을 보며 악상이 떠올라 탄생한 곡이라고 한다. 마뉴엘 마리아 퐁세 (1882-1948) 그의 작품 <Intermezzo> 한 곡 더 감상합니다. https://youtu.be/1O4-RCjwal0
