Bible Reading - Luke 13:1~10

1. Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices,
그때에 몇몇 사람들이 예수께 빌라도가 그들의 희생제물에 갈릴리 사람들 피를 섞은 것애 대해 말했다.

2. Jesus answered, 예수께서 대답하셨다.
“Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 이 갈릴리 사람들이 이런 방식으로 고난을 당했기 때문에 다른 모든 갈릴리 사람들 보다 더 나쁜 죄인이라고 너희는 생각하느냐?

3. I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
내가 너희에게 말한다. 아니다. 그러나 너희가 회개하지 않는다면 너희도 역시 망할 것이다.

4. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?
4. 아니면 실로암 망대가 무너져 죽은 열여덟 명의 사람들이 예루살렘에 사는 다른 모든 사람들보다 더 죄가 많았다고 생각하는가?

5. I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
내가 너희에게 말한다. 아니다. 그러나 너희가 회개하지 않는다면 너희도 역시 망할 것이다.

6. Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.
그때 그는 이 비유를 말씀하셨다. "어떤 사람이 그의 포도원에서 자라고 있는 무화과 나무 한 그루를 가지고 있어서 그는 그 나무에 열매가 있는가 하고 찾으러 갔으나 아무 것도 찾지 못했다.

7. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, ‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
그래서 그는 포도원을 돌보는 그 사람에게 "이제 삼년 동안 이 무화과 나무에 열매를 찾기 위해 오고 있으나 어떤 것도 찾지 못했다. 그것을 잘라 내어라. 왜 그것이 땅을 쓰게 해야 하는가?"하고 말했다.

8. “ ‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for one more year, and I’ll dig around it and fertilize it.
" '주인님', 그 사람이 대답했다. "그것을 한해 더 홀로 남겨 두십시오. 그러면 내가 그 나무 주위를 파고 그것에 거름을 줄 것입니다.

9. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.’ ”
만약에 그것이 내년에 열매를 맺는다면 좋습니다. 만일 그렇지 않다면 그것을 잘라내십시오.' "
