Let us Pray and Praise the Lord.

Dear brothers & sisters, there is no single, definitive number of religions, but experts estimate there are over 4,000 recognized religions globally, with some estimates reaching over 10,000. While thousands exist, the vast majority of the world's population follows one of the few major religions, such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Every religion taught to pray & praise. Friends,

Maybe, fish can live without water but Christian can’t live without pray & Praise. Pray is a breath for all believers. Pray is dialogue with God. We share ourselves with God and ask His will for us.

The best prayer we can see Jesus taught us in Matthew 6 : 9 ~ 13 ”The Lord’s Prayer“.

One more wonderful thing what Jesus taught us is to fulfill God’s will not our’s. (Matthew 26 : 39)

People claim that Pray & Praise same thing but I believe Pray to ask something & Praise to Glorify God. Jesus by Himself praise God or sang Hymns. We’ve to follow Jesus foot prints & Praise God.

Matthew 26 : 30 ~~~ When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Dear brothers and sisters, once again let us read today’s scripture. Psalms 150 : 1 ~ 6

Psalms 150 : 1 ~ 6

1. Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens.

2. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.

3. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre,

4. praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe,

5. praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals.

6. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

All the Psalms are not written by David. Majority are written by David. In Psalms 150 he used the word PRAISE the Lord or Praise God 8 times in 6 verses. In English Praise and in Hebrew Hallelujah.

Friends, today king David told us very clearly five things about worship the Lord or Praise the Lord.

Where – Why – How, Whom and who can worship and praise the Lord?

1. Where, we have to praise God?

Brothers & sisters, we can praise God or glorify God anytime anywhere. There is no limit of Praise. Jews prayed 3 times a day, Muslims pray 5 times a day, Hindus & Sikh’s prayed early in the morning.

Psalms 150 : 1 ~~ Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens.

Brothers and sisters, our church or sanctuary is open 24 hours a day. Thanks God our Senior pastor allowed us to praise God in the church any time. God is not interested in good voice. But God is interested in good hearts. Let us praise His name with faith and be blessed. Amen.

1st. Chronicles 29 : 13 ~~ Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.

Isaiah 12 : 4

In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known

among the nations what He has done, and proclaim that His name is exalted.

2. Why, we praise God?

2nd. thing what king David taught us, is why we’ve to Praise God. Is there any special reason? Yes, of course. God is creator & we’re His creation. We can see in the book of Genesis, how God created the whole universe within 6 days & on the last day. God made Adam and Eve to Praise God.

Psalms 150 : 2 ~ Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.

Always remember, This universe is not made by any accident & the ancestors of man are monkeys.

Genesis 1 : 1 ~ 2

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

John 1 : 1 ~ 3

In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.

3. How, do we praise God.

Third thing what we can see in Psalms 150 king David taught us “How do we Praise God?”

Psalms 150 : 3 ~ 5

Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre,

praise Him with timbrel and dancing, praise Him with the strings and pipe,

praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals.

Dear brothers and sisters praise God with all of our hearts, souls and minds. Praise God with musical instruments. --------------- King David invented Four thousand musical instruments to praise the Lord.

1st. Chronicles 23 : 5

Four thousand are to be gatekeepers and four thousand are to praise

the Lord with the musical instruments I have provided for that purpose.”

When we praise the Lord with musical instruments. Musical instruments touch our inner feelings. Let’s praise with music. When we sing, when we praise God with instrument, it make wonderful atmosphere.

4. To whom, we praise?

All human being must praise the living God. Cause He’s All in all. Creator of everything. He’s our Master.

Psalms 150 : 1 ~ 2 -- Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.

Ephesians 1 : 6 ~ 7

to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the One He loves. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

5. Who should, praise God?

Everyone who has breath. In easy words all the living beings must praise the Lord. Creature of all the waters and the birds of the air and creatures on earth must praise God without end. - Amen

Psalms 150 : 6 ~ Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Some people claim, they are too tired, they are sick, they have promise, they are unable to pray, they are unable to attend Sunday service, they are unable to meditate Bible. I can’t Pray & Praise. Brothers & sisters, don't make any arguments. Pray & Praise God without any delay. God bless you.

James 5 : 13

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise.

Conclusion :-

Holy Bible teach us that we’ve to pray and praise in all circumstances. Don’t stop or make any arguments. We have to Pray and Praise to our Creator. Creation give thanks in all circumstances.

주님께 기도하고 찬양합시다

형제자매 여러분, 공통적이고 명확한 종교의 수는 모르지만 전문가들은 세계적으로 공인된 종교가 4000개 이상이라고 평가하고 어떤 이는 10000개 이상에 이른다고 평가합니다. 수천가지가 존재하는 반면에 세계 인구의 대부분은 기독교, 이슬람교, 힌두교, 불교와 같은 몇몇 중요한 종교중 하나를 따릅니다.

모든 종교는 기도하고 찬양하라고 가르칩니다. 혹시 물고기가 물 없이 살 수 있어도 크리스천은 기도와 찬양 없이는 살 수 없습니다. 기도는 모든 신자들에게 호흡입니다. 기도는 하나님과의 대화입니다. 우리는 하나님과 나누고 우리를 위한 그분의 뜻을 묻습니다.

예수께서 가르치셨던 최고의 기도를 마태복음 6 : 9 ~ 13 에 있는 ‘주님의 기도’에서 볼 수 있습니다. 예수께서 가르치셨던 더 대단한 것은 우리의 뜻이 아니라 하나님의 뜻을 행하라는 것입니다.

(마태복음 26 : 39) 사람들은 기도와 찬양이 같은 것이라고 말하지만 저는 기도는 무언가를 간구하는 것이고 찬양은 하나님을 영화롭게 하는 것이라 믿습니다. 예수님도 하나님을 찬양하셨고 찬송을 부르셨습니다. 우리는 예수님의 발자취를 따르며 하나님을 찬양해야 합니다.

마태복음 26 : 30 ~~~ 이에 그들이 찬미하고 감람 산으로 나아가니라.

형제자매 여러분, 오늘의 본문 말씀을 다시 한번 읽읍시다. 시편 150:1-6입니다.

시편 150 : 1 ~ 6

1 그의 성소에서 하나님을 찬양하며 그의 권능의 궁창에서 그를 찬양할지어다

2 그의 능하신 행동을 찬양하며 그의 지극히 위대하심을 따라 찬양할지어다

3 나팔소리로 찬양하며 비파와 수금으로 찬양할지어다

4 소고 치며 춤 추어 찬양하며 현악과 퉁소로 찬양할지어다

5 큰 소리나는 제금으로 찬양하며 높은 소리나는 제금으로 찬양할지어다

6 호흡이 있는 자마다 여호와를 찬양할지어다

모든 시편을 다윗이 쓴 것은 아닙니다. 대부분이 다윗에 의해 쓰여졌습니다. 시편 150편에서 주님을 찬양하라 또는 여호와를 찬양하라가 여섯 절에서 8번 사용되었습니다. 찬양하라와 히브리어로는 할렐루야입니다. 오늘 다윗 왕은 주님을 예배함 또는 주님을 찬양함에 대하여 매우 분명하게 다섯 가지를 말합니다. 어디서, 왜, 어떻게, 누구에게 그리고 누가 주님을 예배하고 찬양할 수 있을까요?

1. 어디에서, 하나님을 찬양해야 할까요?

형제자매 여러분, 우리는 언제든지 어디서든지 하나님을 찬양하고 영화롭게 할 수 있습니다. 찬양의 한계가 없습니다. 유대인들은 하루에 세 번 기도하고, 무슬림은 하루에 다섯 번 기도하고,

힌두교도와 시카교도는 아침 일찍 기도합니다.

시편 150 : 1 ~~ 할렐루야 그의 성소에서 하나님을 찬양하며 그의 권능의 궁창에서 그를 찬양할지어다.

형제자매 여러분, 우리 교회는 하루 24시간 열려있습니다. 감사하게도 담임목사님은 교회에서 언제든지 하나님을 찬양하도록 해주셨습니다. 하나님은 좋은 목소리에 관심이 있으신 것이 아니라 선한 마음에 관심이 있으십니다. 믿음으로 그분의 이름을 찬양하고 축복 받읍시다. 아멘.

역대상 29 : 13 ~~ 우리 하나님이여 이제 우리가 주께 감사하오며 주의 영화로운 이름을 찬양하나이다.

이사야 12 : 4

그 날에 너희가 또 말하기를 여호와께 감사하라 그의 이름을

부르며 그의 행하심을 만국 중에 선포하며 그의 이름이 높다 하라.

2. 왜, 하나님을 찬양할까요?

다윗 왕이 우리에게 말한 두 번째는 우리가 하나님을 찬양해야 하는 이유입니다. 특별한 이유가 있습니까? 네, 물론입니다. 하나님은 창조주이시고 우리는 피조물입니다. 창세기에서 하나님이 만물을 6일 만에 창조하시고 마지막 날에 하나님을 찬양하도록 아담과 하와를 만드신 것을 알 수 있습니다.

시편 150 : 2 ~~ 그의 능하신 행동을 찬양하며 그의 지극히 위대하심을 따라 찬양할지어다.

이 우주는 우연히 만들어진 것이 아니고 인간의 조상은 원숭이가 아님을 항상 기억하십시오.

창세기 1 : 1 ~ 2

태초에 하나님이 천지를 창조하시니라 땅이 혼돈하고 공허하며

흑암이 깊음 위에 있고 하나님의 영은 수면 위에 운행하시니라.

요한복음 1 : 1 ~ 3

태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라 그가 태초에 하나님과 함께 계셨고 만물이 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으니 지은 것이 하나도 그가 없이는 된 것이 없느니라.

3. 어떻게, 하나님을 찬양해야 할까요?

시편 150편에서 알 수 있는 세 번째는 다윗이 어떻게 하나님을 찬양하는지 가르친 것입니다.

시편 150 : 3 ~ 5

나팔소리로 찬양하며 비파와 수금으로 찬양할지어다 - 소고 치며 춤 추어 찬양하며

현악과 퉁소로 찬양할지어다 - 큰 소리나는 제금으로 찬양하며 높은 소리나는 제금으로 찬양할지어다.

형제자매 여러분, 온 마음과 목숨과 뜻을 다하여 하나님을 찬양하십시오.

악기로 하나님을 찬양하십시오.

사천명이 주님을 찬양하기 위해 다윗 왕은 악기를 개발했습니다.

역대상 23 : 5

사천명은 문지기요 사천명은 그가 여호와께 찬송을 드리기 위하여 만든 악기로 찬송하는 자들이라

우리가 악기로 주님을 찬양할 때 악기는 우리의 내면의 정서를 건드립니다. 악기로 찬양합시다. 우리가 노래하고, 악기로 하나님을 찬양할 때 멋진 분위기가 만들어집니다.

4. 누구에게, 찬양할까요?

모든 인류는 살아계신 하나님을 찬양해야 합니다. 그분은 모든 것이기 때문입니다. 만물의 창조주이십니다. 그분은 우리의 주인이십니다.

시편 150 : 1 ~ 2

할렐루야 그의 성소에서 하나님을 찬양하며 그의 권능의 궁창에서 그를 찬양할지어다 그의 능하신 행동을 찬양하며 그의 지극히 위대하심을 따라 찬양할지어다

에베소서 1 : 6 ~ 7

이는 그가 사랑하시는 자 안에서 우리에게 거저 주시는 바 그의 은혜의 영광을 찬송하게 하려는 것이라 우리는 그리스도 안에서 그의 은혜의 풍성함을 따라 그의 피로 말미암아 속량 곧 죄 사함을 받았느니라

5. 누가, 하나님을 찬양할까요?

호흡이 있는 모든 사람입니다. 쉽게 말해 모든 생물은 주님을 찬양해야 합니다. 지구상의 모든 물과 공중의 새와 피조물은 끝임없이 하나님을 찬양해야 합니다. 아멘.

시편 150 : 6 ~~ 호흡이 있는 자마다 여호와를 찬양할지어다 할렐루야

어떤 사람들은 너무 피곤하다, 아프다, 약속이 있다, 기도할 수 없다, 주일예배에 갈 수 없다, 성경 묵상을 할 수 없다, 기도하고 찬양할 수 없다고 말합니다. 형제자매 여러분, 핑계대지 마십시오. 지체하지 말고 하나님께 기도하고 찬양하십시오. 하나님께서 축복하시기 원합니다.

야고보서 5 : 13

너희 중에 고난당하는 자가 있느냐 그는 기도할 것이요 즐거워하는 자가 있느냐 그는 찬송할지니라.

결론 :-

성경은 모든 상황에서 기도하고 찬양하라고 가르칩니다. 멈추거나 핑계대지 마십시오.

우리는 창조주께 기도하고 찬양해야 합니다. 피조물은 모든 상황에서 감사해야 합니다.
