Bible Reading - Luke 13:11~19

13:11 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years.

18년 동안 악령에 의해 구부러져있었던 한 여자가 있었다.

She was bent over and could not straighten up at all.

그 여자는 구부러져 있어서 몸을 전혀 펼 수 없었다.

13:12 When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her,

예수께서 그녀를 보았을 때, 그는 그녀를 앞으로 나오도록 불러서 말했다.

"Woman, you are set free from your infirmity(허약,연약)."

여자여, 너의 연약함으로부터 놓임을 받았다.

13:13 Then he put his hands on her, 그때 그는 그녀에게 안수했고

and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

즉각적으로 그 여자는 곧게  펴며 하나님을 찬양했다.

13:14 Indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath,

예수께서 안식일에 병자를 고치신 것에 분개하여,

the synagogue ruler said to the people, 그 회당장은 사람들에게 말했다.

"There are six days for work. 일하기 위한 6일이 있다.

So come and be healed on those days, not on the Sabbath."

그러니 안식일이 아니라 그 날들에 와서 치유받으라.

13:15 The Lord answered him, 주님께서 그에게 대답하셨다.

"You hypocrites! 너희 위선자들이여!

Doesn't each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water?안식일에 너희 각 사람은 자기 소나 나귀를 외양간에서 풀어내어 물을 먹이지 않느냐?

13:16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?"

그렇다면 사탄에게 18년 동안 결박당해 온 아브라함의 딸인 이 여인을 안식일에 그 결박에서 풀어줘야 하지 않겠는가?

13:17 When he said this, all his opponents were humiliated, 

그가 이 말을 하자, 그의 모든 반대자들은 굴욕감을 느꼈다.

but the people were delighted with all the wonderful things he was doing.

하지만 사람들은 그가 하고 있는 모든 놀라운 일들에 매우 기뻐했다.

13:18 Then Jesus asked, "What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to?

그때 예수께서 물으셨다. "하나님의 나라는 무엇과 같은가? 무엇으로 내가 그것에 비교할 수 있을까?"

13:19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. 

그것은 어떤 사람이 취하여 그의 밭에 심었던 겨자씨 한 알과 같다.

It grew and became a tree, 그것이 자라 나무가 되었고

and the birds of the air perched in its branches."

공중의 새들이 그 가지에 깃들였다.
