Summary: Now, in Korea, the number of smokers who throw away the cigarette butts is decreasing. At the public squares, such as Gwanghwamun, and Seoul, smokers can't smoke and throw away the cigarette butts but 176,000 people were caught. However, this number is decreased. Many people say that the anti-smoking campaign works now.
Now, the government will place more trashcans and they will consider no-smoking areas as the places in which people really can't smoke.
Opinion: It's really good news that the number of smokers is decreasing. Actually, when I was in Korea, I worried about the cigarette butts for they are really uncountable. However, they are decreasing. Korea is trying best to decrease the number of smokers. I think the best way is to increase the price of the cigarettes. Of course, some addicted people will continuously smoke but perhaps most young people who don't have enough money will not smoke. Now a lot of teenagers smoke even though it's illegal. The government should do something for it because smoking is really harmful to humans and also it's really hard to stop it if a man starts it.
