A Smart Glove That Can “Speak” Sign Language?

Researchers, including Dr Choo Wou Onn from INTI’s Faculty of Data Science and Information Technology, are developing a wearable AI glove that turns hand gestures into text and speech in real time.

With simple sensors + machine learning, it can recognise sign language with up to 92% accuracy, making communication more accessible, affordable, and inclusive for the deaf and hard of hearing community.
