Verse of the Day
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord. ”—Psalm 19:14, NKJV
Hello. My name is Pastor Ron Johnson, from the great state of Indiana. Let’s pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to You with grateful hearts, humbly acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. Today we thank You for the precious blessings of religious liberty and freedom of speech, the ability to worship You openly, to proclaim truth without fear, and to live out our convictions according to Your word. Lord, we don’t take these freedoms for granted. We recognize that throughout history and even today, many long for what we so easily enjoy. Thank You for those who have sacrificed to secure these liberties, and for the founding principles that have allowed faith to flourish openly in our land. We ask You, O God, that You would continue to place Your protective hand on our nation. Lord, guard these freedoms from erosion and grant wisdom, integrity, and humility to our leaders at every level. Help them to avoid injustice. Help them to defend truth. Help them to seek the good of all people. And Father, unite us as a people—not in uniformity, but in shared commitment to truth, civility, and righteousness. Teach us to use our freedom of speech, not for division or harm, but to build up, to speak life and, Lord, to reflect Your grace and truth in all that we say. Revive Your church, Lord, across this land. Stir in us a boldness to live faithfully, to love deeply, and to shine as lights in a world that needs hope. Lord, may we steward our freedoms well, honoring You in both word and deed. We ask You for Your continued blessing, God, upon our nation, that we would turn our hearts toward You, that we would walk in Your ways, and Lord that we would experience the abundant life that only You can provide. Lord, we pray all of this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen. Thank you so much for praying with us today, and may God bless you, and may God bless these United States of America.
