0:01 [Music] 0:08 today I'm gonna be showing y'all 0:10 something that most people don't know 0:12 how to do and that's the 12-foot cast 0:14 net just because the steps are either 0:17 gonna be really simple or really hard 0:19 but today I'm gonna teach how to do it 0:21 this simple way so basically we're 0:23 throwing a cast net as long as you know 0:25 the parts of the cast net and what 0:26 you're doing it's pretty simple so it's 0:30 just three simple steps with throwing 0:32 the casting it 0:32 you got prepping your net which is how 0:35 I'm going to show you how to prep it and 0:36 get it ready for you that then you got 0:38 loading the net which is how to hold it 0:40 whatnot and then you got throwing the 0:41 net all right so you got the neck or the 0:45 horn of the net whichever one you want 0:47 to call it which is this top part so 0:49 basically first thing we're prepping the 0:50 net you're just gonna get even strokes 0:52 on the rope in your left hand as you see 0:57 always makes it you have to run your 0:58 wrist because this net was $160 and that 1:01 would not be good having that come off 1:02 your wrist all right so then you're 1:04 gonna straighten your net all the way up 1:05 in a minute I'm going to show you all 1:07 how to make sure your legs ready to be 1:08 thrown which is make sure it's not 1:09 tangled up all right so you're gonna 1:11 grab the neck of it and you're gonna run 1:12 your right hand down about two foot of 1:15 the ways zoom in so you can see that 1:17 good about two foot or so you're gonna 1:20 put that in your left hand as well 1:22 answer that's in the left hand take your 1:24 right hand when you come down the next 1:26 thing you're gonna grab and this is 1:27 important it's gonna be a little bit 1:29 higher than your ways so not right the 1:31 way it's not lower but a little bit 1:32 above it so that's gonna go in your left 1:34 hand okay so two grabs unless you have 1:36 giant hands so you can make three graphs 1:38 but for me I have normal hands and two 1:40 grabs is perfect so right there as you 1:43 can see here's my waist a little bit 1:44 above it and that's perfect alright now 1:47 this is also really important with 1:49 prepping your net actually moving on 1:51 into loading phase but before you do 1:53 that you want to make sure that none of 1:54 your legs are tangled because if one of 1:56 your legs just hang when you go to throw 1:57 it it's just going to cannonball just 2:00 going to 2:00 crap all right so the prep your net 2:05 before you start loading it go in throw 2:07 a little bit of lead to your right side 2:09 of your body right side of your foot 2:10 whatever you want to do you're gonna 2:12 take the front lid so you got a back lid 2:14 and you got a front lid gonna keep it as 2:16 simple as possible you're gonna sort 2:18 half of it okay so once you grab your 2:20 right half of the net we're gonna fold 2:22 it of your wrist just like that they're 2:25 gonna take the half that you sorted 2:28 we're gonna fold it over your wrist now 2:30 you got a lower lid pop and a higher lid 2:33 pop now you're gonna take your right 2:34 hand and you're gonna grab down in 2:37 between those two piles and you put that 2:40 rope in your mouth okay 2:41 after you put that rope in your mouth 2:44 you're gonna take your pinky arm's 2:48 length down and you'll put your fingers 2:51 to it okay so letting the mouth pinkie 2:54 an arm's-length pledge one point they're 2:59 gonna take a rest your fingers and roll 3:01 it over just like a frisbee 3:05 [Music] 3:09 recap I'm gonna come back through and 3:11 show you all one more time okay so 3:14 you're gonna sort your rope in your left 3:16 hand grab the neck straighten your net 3:20 out to feed down grab it come down just 3:27 right above the waist 3:29 grab that take the lid bring out the 3:34 right side of your body take the front 3:36 side of the lid sort out half of it okay 3:46 you're gonna grab it roll it over the 3:50 wrist grab in between the hind leg Paul 3:54 to the mouth pinky on blank John grab it 3:59 take your restroom fingers and grab a 4:01 roll over cycle 4:12 [Music] 4:15 all right now one thing with retrieving 4:18 the net we've already talked about a 4:19 throat we'll retrieving it you want to 4:21 go real slow and you can even bounce in 4:23 that a little bit if you want if you 4:25 pull it in too much the legs gonna hop 4:27 off the ground and that mullet and 4:29 anything that you're trying to catch is 4:30 gonna be able to take scape under the 4:33 bottom of the net all right now if you 4:37 follow my way of throwing this net it's 4:39 going to make it a lot more simple than 4:41 most people you're not throwing anything 4:42 over your shoulder it's just simple how 4:45 to load the net how to prep it how to 4:46 throw it and if you do that properly 4:49 you'll go from being able to throw the 4:50 net correctly 4:51 out on the water and you want to end up 4:53 looking like this guy 4:58 [Music] 5:06 the video if you liked this video and 5:09 you want to see more like it go and 5:11 comment down below which you'd like me 5:12 to make a video of and I appreciate it
