Yoon Young-ho’s statement—“We must free True Father, who Is being held captive in the basement of Cheon Jeong Gung” (2026-08-28)
We are releasing a statement which Yoon Young-ho drafted through a close aide approximately 10 months ago, on November 30, 2025.
Yoon Young-ho, who was subjected to a raid by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office on December 27, 2024, explains the circumstances leading to the Unification Church’s severance of ties with him, clarifies his own actions, and harshly criticizes the response of the Unification Church leadership.
At the end of the statement, he addressed a rumor that had been circulating secretly within the Unification Church—namely, that “Rev. Sun Myung Moon is not at Bonhyangwon (the cemetery) but is being held captive in the basement of Cheon Jeong Gung”—and asserted, “We must free True Father, who is being held captive in the basement of Cheon Jeong Gung.”
Although this is extremely shocking to the church members, we received this information along with a request stating, “With True Father’s Seonghwa anniversary approaching, we ask that this disclosure not be delayed any further and that the truth be revealed.”
Therefore, we are publishing the original text of the statement below as is.

Heavenly Mandate: To All Believers (1)
“We must free True Father, who is being held captive in the basement of Cheon Jeong Gung.”
〈Editor’s Note〉: This statement was drafted by former World Headquarters Director Yoon Young-ho on November 30 of last year (2025). It is a compilation of portions of the content he sent in memo form over a period of four months.
Last December, just as we were about to release a portion of the compiled statement, a series of major news reports emerged regarding allegations involving Democratic Party politicians and the Unification Church, so time passed without us being able to publish it.
Subsequently, with the 14th anniversary of True Father’s passing approaching, I have decided to release a portion of it now. As this is a compilation of multiple fragmentary notes, the editor bears responsibility for any editorial errors or issues with phrasing.
First and foremost, I offer my deepest apologies to God, True Parents, and all the members.
I believe that this situation, which began last December in tandem with the political circumstances of martial law, impeachment, and the subsequent change of government, is not merely an incident confined to a single individual or a single religious organization, but rather a process of trial and refinement leading toward God’s blessing on the unified Korea and a unified world.
This incident began last year, and from mid-April of this year, extensive media coverage began in earnest. I received numerous requests for interviews and coverage from various media outlets, but I never responded to any of them, nor have I ever issued a statement in my own name.
The reason I am issuing this statement now is not to explain my own position regarding the inside story, causes, behind-the-scenes details, or legal proceedings surrounding this situation. Rather, it is to share a portion of what has been given to me as providential insight and revelation regarding the essence of this incident—an essence that cannot be understood through human wisdom alone.
Let me state first and foremost that this is not driven by my own will or motives; rather, Heaven and True Father are the sole motives behind it. I will humbly accept any criticism or condemnation regarding this matter.
In fact, at the end of December last year, I intuitively sensed what kind of impact this incident—which began with a raid by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office—would have in the future. Therefore, at that time, I contacted Mrs. Jeong Won-ju, who was then Chief of Staff and Vice President of the Heavenly Affairs Institute, and requested an urgent meeting with True Mother.
As a fellow worker (*one who works together for God*) who had worked alongside her in the closest capacity for many years, I understood this incident better than anyone else, so I fully explained the potential impact it would have on True Mother and the church. However, Mrs. Jeong Won-ju rejected my request.
After that, Mrs. Jeong Won-ju intentionally cut off all means of communication and connections leading to True Mother. Even so, judging that the church and True Mother were in a dangerous situation, I tried every possible means to contact her and request a meeting. However, all I received in return was a hollow echo.
Concerned about this situation, some acquaintances of mine met with Chairman Kim Jong-kwan and Chairman Yang Chang-shik to convey my wishes. However, the response I ultimately received—that “Mrs. Jeong Won-ju has completely cut off all contact with True Mother”—was one that was hard to believe at first.
Furthermore, the series of events I experienced afterward were so desperate—and so inferior even to those in secular society—that I could not help but doubt whether “the Unification Family is truly a community of heart where the true love of God and the True Parents lives and breathes.”
As soon as the forced investigation (house search) against me began, without any fact-finding regarding the incident and without proper verification procedures, I was forcibly removed in January from my positions as Vice President and Director of the Chaplaincy Office at Sun Moon University, which I had assumed at the request of True Mother.
Within the church, under the leadership of Mrs. Jeong Won-ju, special meetings were held targeting agency heads, district leaders, pastors, and public officials at Cheonwon. Without any verification or inquiry directed at me, I was repeatedly subjected to attacks, criticism, and condemnation—akin to a witch hunt—as “the wicked person who betrayed and sold out True Mother.”
Public officials—seniors, juniors, and colleagues—who until yesterday had been working alongside me in demanding missionary fields, believing True Mother’s command for “National Restoration” to be a “heavenly mandate,” were forced overnight, under the coercive directives and policies labeled “Headquarters’ orders,” to sever all ties with me and my family and cut off all contact. Upon hearing this, I collapsed right there on the spot.
When True Mother commanded the “restoration of nations” in more than seven countries in 2015, she referred to me as “the only person who believed when no one else did” (May 8, 2020),“the only person who walked alongside True Mother through her 10 years of world providential work” (May 3, 2024), and even “a single needle desperately sought out in a desolate desert where sandstorms raged and one could not see even an inch ahead.” She repeatedly acknowledged me as “more than just a fellow worker in providential history.”
However, despite having been held in such high regard, I became the target of “cover-ups” and “scapegoating” by Mrs. Jeong Won-ju and the leadership, and was subjected to a whirlwind of fierce criticism.
It was a truly miserable situation, but my family and I kept our suffering buried deep within our hearts and never once raised our voices. Still, clinging to a sliver of hope that True Mother would understand my true intentions, and out of a desire not to cause her any trouble, I remained silent and endured.
However, the more I endured, the more intense the criticism became. With the mindset of “death leads to life” (*Those who are willing to die will live*), I had to endure attacks from the leadership internally and a rigorous investigation by the prosecution externally. At that time, I even considered fulfilling my providential responsibility by making an extreme decision that went beyond legal liability.
As all of you believers know, during the investigation conducted by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office, True Mother was never summoned or questioned even once.
However, in April, after the president’s impeachment, an early presidential election was held, and as the political situation underwent a major shift, alongside critical media coverage of the previous administration, various stories related to the Unification Church—including this incident—based on speculation and rumors began to be reported indiscriminately and intensively.
Surprisingly, however, the church issued a statement to the media regarding these reports, stating, “Yoon Young-ho resigned and left the church in May 2023, and we are currently unable to contact him. The content being reported is unrelated to the church and constitutes the personal misconduct of Yoon Young-ho.”
If, as the church’s statement claims, this incident is my personal misconduct, then the “restoration of seven nations, seven religious groups, and the continents”—which we have long boasted of as True Mother’s providential achievements—would also be considered my personal misconduct.
The numerous meetings with heads of state that I have held—pushing my own limits for the sake of Providence—as well as the many conferences and events I have organized, would likely be regarded not as acts of Providence, but as my own personal misconduct.
I have never, not even once, used the Providence for my own personal gain. I have lived a life with nothing to hide. For ten years, I maintained a routine of arriving at work at 5:00 a.m. every morning and leaving late at night. I had no weekends, no days off, no consecutive days off, no vacations, and no holidays.
Sleeping less than three hours a day, I would wake up before dawn to communicate with leaders conducting missionary work on the other side of the globe.
I never even had the chance to take a family vacation like other people do, and without being able to watch my children grow up, I lived my life completely devoted to “God’s Will.”
Even when my father suffered a cerebral hemorrhage that left him completely paralyzed and was given a terminal prognosis, I followed True Mother’s will and dedicated everything to the Providence of 2020 without even being able to see him properly. Whenever True Mother commanded me, I visited mission fields—some requiring more than 40 hours by plane—dozens of times, and continued to work tirelessly for the great cause of “National Restoration.”
Could someone like me have exploited the Providence to engage in the buying and selling of public office for personal gain? Could someone like me have embezzled public funds for my own benefit? Even a child could understand this. You cannot hide the sky with the palm of your hand.
I underwent more than 20 interrogations by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office and the Special Prosecutor’s Office, three home searches, and a thorough investigation, yet not a single won of personal embezzlement was included among the charges against me. Nevertheless, the fact that the church branded me as having committed “individual acts of misconduct for personal gain” is no different from the witch hunts carried out by corrupt religious organizations in the Middle Ages.
The church engaged in a thorough “cover-up” in response to tens of thousands of news reports, attempting to hide the sky with the palm of its hand. As a result, the situation grew increasingly serious.
In June, following a change in administration due to an early presidential election, an investigation by the special prosecutor began. As the case was transferred from the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office to the special prosecutor—and as the investigation expanded beyond mere media reports to include the church, and specifically True Mother—raising the likelihood that the situation would become even more serious, the church forcibly expelled my wife and me at the end of June without providing due process or a sufficient opportunity to defend ourselves, and then announced this fact to the media in a highly publicized manner.
For my wife and me, who were raised with faith from birth, “expulsion” signified not only religious death within the faith community but also social death. It was incredibly frustrating and heartbreaking, but my wife and I had no choice but to hold hands, pray to Heaven, and endure it.
However, the church went even further: through video sermons and messages, they criticized me as a “traitor” like Judas Iscariot; they widely publicized this to believers around the world via official documents; and they even used it as part of their educational curriculum.
My in-laws—senior pastors who had walked the path of faith their entire lives—and my mother, who had lived as a faithful believer for 60 years, could do nothing but shed tears in the face of the church’s tyranny, which had lost all true love.
Our daily lives had already collapsed and we were exhausted due to reporters’ inquiries—which extended not only to our home but even to our children’s schools—and rigorous investigations by the prosecution. Yet, from the very faith community from which we should have received comfort and support, we were instead sentenced to “death” and “exclusion.”
Even so, we remained silent and continued to endure. This was because we believed that Heaven—and True Parents—would understand our sincerity.
While I was running around day and night, giving my all for the “Restoration of the Nation” and the “Restoration of the Continent,” those who had never once set foot at the scene— —were now the first to take the lead in condemning and criticizing me.
Amidst this, in mid-July, my home, the church headquarters, and Cheon Jeong Gung were all raided on the same day. All the filial piety and loyalty I had maintained in silence up to that point crumbled, and I fell into a bottomless despair.
This was because True Mother, at a special gathering held at Cheon Won Gung the day after the search of Cheon Jeong Gung, accepted the leadership’s opinion and labeled me a “traitor.” The details were reported verbatim by the media, including the Segye Ilbo.
Just as Mrs. Jeong Won-ju and the leadership had intended, I became a “traitor.” Then, on July 22, I was taken into custody after being questioned just once by the special prosecutor.
What I learned afterward was nothing short of shocking. Starting on August 11, the church leadership had been publishing statements in full-page advertisements in major newspapers such as the Chosun Ilbo,*Dong-A Ilbo, and JoongAng Ilbo.
The content of these statements—intended to protect their precarious position—portrayed this incident as “an act of misconduct based on Yoon Young-ho’s personal desires, unrelated to the church.” It felt as if my heart were being torn apart.
If that were the case, then what about the “Restoration of Seven Nations, Restoration of Seven Religious Groups, and Restoration of the Continents,” as well as the “2020 Commemorative Events,” the “Rally of Hope”—in which billions of people participated via broadcast using the non-face-to-face platform I developed during the COVID-19 pandemic—the “Think Tank 2020 Forum,” the “World Summit,” the “ILC,” the “2022 Korean Peninsula Peace Summit,” and the “2023 Cheon Won Gung Dedication Ceremony”—all of these would also have to be considered “deviant acts based on my personal desires.”
When no one else believed, I believed in the restoration of the nation. This is because, as the only person who walked alongside True Mother through her 10 years of global providential work, I supported her and carried out her will.
However, the church and its leadership criticized me using a one-sided standard, without deeply reflecting on the circumstances I faced or the mission I had fulfilled.
“National Restoration,” “Continental Restoration,” “Restoration of one-third of the world’s population.” We must accept True Mother’s words as missions that must be accomplished—not as mere empty declarations—and put them into practice. Moreover, if we are to achieve this in a world where deep-rooted prejudice views us as “heretics” or a “cult”—
If you give it even a moment’s serious thought, you will fully understand just how nearly impossible it was to put this command into practice.
Subsequently, on August 31, True Mother released a video in which she read a special message prepared by the leadership, and that video was distributed to Unification families around the world.
Then, on September 2, the church filed a criminal complaint against my wife on charges of embezzlement and, as it has done in the past, publicized this fact extensively to the media through press releases. The intent behind the complaint was clear. Sisa Journal (September 4) reported on that intent as follows:
“Since Yoon Young-ho has testified that he reported all developments to President Han Hak-ja, her indictment is becoming a foregone conclusion. Therefore, regarding Lee Shin-hye—Yoon Young-ho’s wife and former Director of the Finance Bureau—we must urgently identify instances of embezzlement and turn the tide of the situation.”
The media outlet presented this as a statement from the church’s attorney. However, it was a classic example of the “cutting off the tail” and “eliminating the tail” tactics the leadership has been employing against me since late December of last year. In other words, it was the church’s strategy to pressure me by filing charges against my wife and frame this incident as “misconduct by a married couple”.
In fact, the church has repeatedly attempted to coax and pressure me, offering concessions in exchange for withdrawing the complaint.
However, let me reiterate: Although I underwent dozens of interrogations and home searches by the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office and the Special Prosecutor’s Office, there are absolutely no allegations that I misappropriated or embezzled public funds for personal use.
Despite this “cutting off the tail” and “elimination of the tail” by the church leadership, True Mother was summoned by the Special Prosecutors Office on September 8 (July 17 in the Heavenly Calendar)—the 13th anniversary of True Father’s passing—as well as on September 11 and September 15. On September 17, following the initial interrogation, she was taken into custody.
After True Mother was detained, my family and I were subjected to threats and found ourselves in a situation where we even feared for our lives. While I am away, my family is struggling to get through each day with all their might.
Even so, this is truly absurd. They have branded me with every possible label—“apostate,” “traitor,” “betrayer”—and, as if that were not enough, have mercilessly exposed those labels to believers around the world and the external media. Yet even now, they continue to tell me about True Mother’s well-being and coerce me into walking the path of loyalty.
Despite having subjected me and my family to a “scapegoating” campaign and a witch hunt—much like a secular organization—for nearly a year, they continue to speak of “filial piety,” “loyalty,” and “True Love.” This leads me to reflect anew on what “True Love,” as spoken of by True Parents, truly means.
“True parental love is to lay down one’s life for one’s children and even forget that one has done so. No matter how long or arduous the path may be, parents walk it joyfully. A parent’s love is the greatest love in the world.”
(From ‘As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen,’ p. 254)
“True love is something that allows one to sacrifice even one’s own life, and there is no calculation involved. No matter how painful it may be, parents walk the path of love. To walk while laying down one’s own life before love—that is the heart of a parent and true love.”
(From ‘As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen,’ p. 240)
From early to mid-September of last year, True Mother conveyed to me on several occasions that the “cutting off of the tail” carried out by the Family Federation was a mistake, addressed the issue of responsibility, and assured me that she still loves me.
However, along with those messages, the leadership demanded that I submit a written confession containing content so unthinkable that I cannot even bring myself to speak of it. I will speak in detail about this matter at a later opportunity.
I conveyed the message: “I have never, not even once, betrayed anyone.” Did I truly betray anyone? Or did they force me to betray them, label me a “traitor,” and carry out the “cutting off of the tail”?
I pray that we may become a community of hearts where true love lives and breathes. I ask that you stop throwing stones at me—a person who lives day by day, unable even to die.
I have recorded a portion of the events that have befallen me in this statement because, through this process of trials and refinement, Heaven has granted me “the Word that must be conveyed.”
“Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us …”
(Romans 5:3–5)
This passage not only points to the cause of the situation we are currently facing—which could be described as a trial—but also offers a glimmer of hope for resolving this problem. As I endured the storms of despair that swept over me almost daily, prayer, meditation, and the reading of Scripture were my only source of strength to protect myself from extreme temptations.
Faced with despair and the trials that came crashing down on me day after day—even as I wept bitterly and beat my chest, yet found that nothing was resolved—all I could do was turn to Heaven in desperate need. After spending countless sleepless nights, as my anguish turned into unbearable agony and I was driven to the very depths of darkness where I could no longer even support myself, it was in the midst of that despair that Heaven granted me a word.
It is just as True Father said: “God appears when we stand at the very end of despair” (‘As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen,’ p. 145).
In particular, Heaven and True Father gave me profound words regarding why “Holy Wedding Day” was on “March 16.” Today, True Mother has established “March 16” as a single day to commemorate “God’s Day,” “True Parents’ Day,” and “Holy Wedding Day”—there are no coincidences in the providence.
John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
In John 3:16, which became the origin of the Holy Wedding Day, it is emphasized that God gave His “only Son” because He loved the world, so that those who believe in that “only Son” may not perish but have eternal life.
Furthermore, God sent His “only Son” into the world not to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him (John 3:17). Therefore, those who believe in the “only Son” will not be judged, but those who do not believe will face judgment (John 3:18).
For these reasons, the Bible likens the “only Son” to the “Bridegroom” and those who believe in Him—that is, the “Church (the saints)”—to the “Bride.”
Furthermore, regarding the “Bride” in the “Wedding Feast of the Lamb”—which will be fulfilled by the Second Coming of the Only-Begotten Son—the Book of Revelation (21:2, 9–11) describes her as the “Holy City, Jerusalem,” that is, the “Church, the assembly of the saints” who have been awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
On “March 16,” True Father held the “Wedding Feast of the Lamb”—that is, the “Holy Wedding”—with True Mother, and at the same time, the first “Joint Wedding Blessing Ceremony (3 couples)” in the Unification Family was also held.
Since Christianity—the “Bride” that had been awaiting the returning Jesus as the “Bridegroom”—was unable to welcome the returning Jesus, True Father founded the “Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity” in 1954 to spiritually unify Christianity throughout the world, past and present, East and West.
Then, in March 1960—the seventh year—he held a wedding banquet between “True Mother,” the substantial Bride, and “the Church (the saints),” the symbolic Bride. This was the “Wedding Blessing Ceremony.”
Furthermore, centered on 3·1·6 (10), True Father also set the date for the “Cheon Jeong Gung Entrance and Coronation Ceremony” as June 13 (6·1·3〈10〉). If you reverse the order of John 3:16, it becomes June 13.
The significance of “3·1·6” is extremely important to Heaven and True Father. All of this is connected to the fundamental message of John 3:16.
However, on “March 16,” 2022—which marked the “10th year” of the Heavenly Kingdom and the “10th anniversary” of True Father’s passing—we committed a grave error.
I will omit the detailed circumstances, but as you all know, at the “World Leaders’ Assembly”—which was hastily organized as a “special education” session to commemorate the Holy Wedding Festival—Director Kim Jin-chun publicly taught content that directly contradicted established doctrine, such as claiming that “True Father had original sin and a shadow.” (At the time, I was unable to attend because I had contracted COVID-19.)
In a nutshell, they killed the “messianic nature” of the only Son—that is, his very identity as the Messiah.
Here, we need to reflect once more on John 3:16.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life.”
We spiritually killed True Father. Moreover, we did so on Holy Marriage Day of the very year marking the “10th anniversary” of True Father’s passing—and the indemnity for that began immediately.
On July 8, the death of former Prime Minister Abe unleashed a massive storm upon the Unification Church in Japan, “Mother Nation.” Just as in South Korea today, Japan saw a witch-hunt-like assault on the Unification Church by the media and the government continuing day after day; that storm swept over to South Korea like a tsunami and eventually spread throughout the world.
At that time, True Mother was extremely worried and had become quite frail mentally. We absolutely had to find a way to break through. So I pleaded with True Mother, and as we approached the 10th anniversary of True Father’s passing, I raised the slogan, “Let’s go see Father,” and made extensive preparations for the 10th-anniversary commemorative event honoring True Father.
Looking back now, I believe that was a kind of condition for indemnity. Many leaders were concerned about holding the event due to the problems within the Unification Church in Japan, but I proceeded with the preparations boldly and with strong resolve.
In particular, I organized a visit to Bonhyangwon (the grave) for members who had not been able to pay their respects there even once since True Father’s passing, and I held special gatherings for 1,300 core members from each of the five districts. For three hours—sometimes as long as four—I spoke passionately, shedding tears as I bore witness to the ten-year journey True Mother had walked since True Father’s passing.
I testified with all my heart and soul that “True Father” in “heaven” and “True Mother” on “earth” are one, and described how the two of them have walked the path toward the establishment of the Cheon Il Guk.
I don’t know if you remember, but at that time, I used the term “Cosmic Course to Restore Canaan” to explain the Cosmic Course to Restore Canaan that “True Parents, who are one,” walk both in Heaven and on Earth. True Father in Heaven, in the immaterial world, and True Mother on Earth, in the material world, are the same “one person” who truly exists, and they must be one.
However, the public lecture held on March 16, 2022, created a gulf as vast as heaven and earth between the two of them. I felt I had to bridge that gulf. In the wake of the issues surrounding the Japanese Church, many leaders expressed concerns about holding the event, but I pressed forward nonetheless. I had to move forward.
With major Japanese broadcasters such as NHK and TBC airing the event live, and with the entire nation watching, I held the summit and set aside a moment of silence to mourn the passing of former Prime Minister Abe. Then, in my keynote address, I proudly presented the path that True Parents have walked toward the realization of God’s world of eternal peace.
Furthermore, I reached out once again to U.S. President Trump—with whom I had personally negotiated alongside U.S. leaders in 2021—and requested that he deliver a video address expressing his condolences for former Prime Minister Abe, as well as his support for our movement and True Mother.
And most importantly, on July 16 of the Heavenly Calendar (August 13)—that is, four months after “March 16”—I received True Mother’s permission and formally disclosed the details in an official document.
That official document clarified that the lecture given by Director Kim Jin-chun at the Holy Wedding Anniversary “World Leaders’ Convention” represented his personal opinions and not the official stance of World Headquarters.
Thus, “four months” after the special education, we established conditions for indemnity and ultimately restored the “number 10” (3·1·6) through the victory of the “10th anniversary” of True Father’s passing.
However, this restoration through indemnity ended up taking us back to square one. In May 2023, following True Mother’s 80th birthday celebration, I submitted my resignation. In fact, even before that—in March 2023, immediately after returning from a courtesy visit on the President of Sri Lanka—I had already offered to resign.
True Mother strongly urged me to stay and instructed me to continue working until 2027. A week later, I offered my resignation once more, but True Mother again strongly urged me to stay and persuaded me to remain.
However, since there was only about one month left until True Mother’s 80th birthday celebration, I decided to do my best until the very end. Then, after the celebration and the dedication ceremony for Cheonwon Palace were over, on May 8, I once again submitted my resignation to True Mother.
However, after that, the Unification Church regressed back to the situation it had been in on March 16, 2022. While the doctrine of the “Only-Begotten Daughter” was established and widespread indoctrination took place, “True Father” gradually disappeared from the Unification Church.
Subsequently, in Japan—the “Mother Nation”—the government filed a petition for the dissolution of the Unification Church; in the United States—the “Elder Son Nation”—we suffered a final defeat in the UCI lawsuit; and in South Korea—the “Father Nation”—the current situation has unfolded.
“Heaven” and “True Father” imparted these teachings on July 16, 2025, in the Heavenly Calendar—the “fourth year” counting from 2022, or “40 months” in terms of months—which also marked the “40th day” since I arrived here.
It was the exact same day—July 16, Heavenly Calendar—that I had officially designated in an official document three years ago.
Furthermore, the very next day marked the 13th anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa, as well as the day True Mother was first summoned by the Special Prosecutor’s Office.
Based on the information given from Heaven, there are detailed charts recording the fiscal years, dates, and specific details, but I will omit them here and explain them in detail if the opportunity arises in the future.
There are two things that Heaven and True Father desire. As a messenger, I will convey the words I have been given exactly as they were given.
First and foremost is repentance for having killed the messianic nature of the Only-Begotten Son.
And this repentance means shifting toward a spiritual awakening movement centered on True Father, so that the Unification Family may once again awaken to the vision of “God’s World of Peace”—the church’s original mission—and, in particular, to the “Divine Unified World” through the restoration of the continents, and make a major shift toward a movement aimed at realizing this vision.
We have also received the Word regarding the specific conditions for repentance, but I will speak about that at a later date.
Second, we must liberate True Father, who is confined in the basement of Cheon Jeong Gung. True Father is not at Bonhyangwon.
In 2022, with the 10th anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa approaching, I visited True Father, who is in the basement of Cheon Jeong Gung, for the first time, together with True Mother. However, that visit was True Mother’s first visit to True Father since his Seonghwa.
“Year 13 of Cheon Il Guk,” “the 13th anniversary of True Father’s Holy Passing.” We must once again deeply reflect on the principled and providential significance of the number “13,” and now is the time to welcome True Father’s physical presence and for the Church to once again fulfill its role as “the light and salt of the world.” Unless we do so, this tribulation will not end.
Heaven has stated that these two actions must be carried out within four months of the date of True Father’s passing—July 17 of the Heavenly Calendar (1:54 a.m., “10”). Given my current position, I am unable to convey this message directly to True Mother or the leadership, so I am compelled to communicate it through this statement.
This is why I am issuing this statement.
Once this statement is released, the church will once again persecute me and my family, and will denounce and criticize its contents. I do not mind. As I stated at the beginning, this statement does not stem from my own will or motives; rather, Heaven and True Father are the sole sources of its motivation.
As I deliver this statement, I have only one wish: that the Unification Church, which has prided itself on being a “Community of Heart,” may return once again to Heaven’s providential path and become a “Community of Heart” where true love thrives vibrantly and where God’s bold vision breathes powerfully.
Thank you.
November 30, 2025
*This statement is the result of gradually organizing its contents over the course of four months while receiving guidance.
*I will discuss the details regarding the mathematical period of indemnity, the conditions of indemnity, and the charts summarizing these points at a later date.
