Last Saturday evening, June 15^th, the Las Vegas Community held a BBQ to introduce the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU). There were 100 people present including many new guests.

Before eating, all gathered together for introductions and to bless the meal.

Volunteers cooked delicious hamburgers and hotdogs and everyone spent time together in the beautiful, warm, Las Vegas evening on the lawn of the Cheong Hwa Gung – True Parents house. It was a beautiful time – a glimpse of the Kingdom of Heaven. Children were playing and families and friends were spending quality time.

After dinner the FFWPU Las Vegas Praise Team performed three energetic and inspiring songs to bring everyone together.

After the music, participants listened to a very enriching presentation by Rev. Andrew Compton with a Spanish translation by Mrs. Karina Densaki. Rev. Compton introduced FFWPU, Father and Mother Moon, their basic teachings about the family, the Blessing, and the upcoming Unity Festival with Mother Moon.  It was a very interesting talk, even for current members of FFWPU. New guests were very inspired by the talk and the overall atmosphere of the evening.

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed dessert and impromptu music by the band. It was a beautiful experience.
