Bible Reading - Luke 14:20~28

14:20 "Still another said, 또 다른 사람이 말했다.

'I just got married, so I can't come.' 나는 방금 결혼했다. 그래서 나는 갈 수 없다.

14:21 "The servant came back and reported this to his master. 

그 종이 돌아와서 그의 주인에게 이것을 보고했다.

Then the owner of the house became angry and ordered his servant, 

그때 그 집 주인이 화가 나서 그의 종에게 명령했다.

'Go out quickly into the streets and alley(골목)s of the town and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind and the lame.'

속히 거리와 동네의 골목으로 나가서 가난한 자들, 불구자들, 맹인들 그리고 앉은뱅이들을 데리고 오라.

14:22 "'Sir,' the servant said, 'what you ordered has been done, but there is still room.'

주인님, 종이 말했다. 당신이 명령하신 것을 했습니다. 그러나 여전히 방이 남아 있습니다. 

14:23 "Then the master told his servant, 그때 그 주인이 그의 종에게 말했다.

 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full.

나가서 길과 시골길로 사람들을 불러 모아 내 집이 가득 차게 하라.

14:24 I tell you, 내가 너희에게 말한다.

not one of those men who were invited will get a taste of my banquet.'

"초대 받았던 그 사람들 중에 아무도 내 잔치의 음식을 맛보지 못할 것이다. 

14:25 Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, 큰 무리들이 예수와 여행 중이었다.

and turning to them he said:그는 그들에게 돌이켜서 말씀하셨다.

14:26 "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life--he cannot be my disciple.

만일 어떤 사람이 내게로 와서 그의 부모와 아내 그리고 자녀들과 그의 형제 자매들- 예~, 심지어 그 자신의 목숨까지도 미워하지 않는다면 그는 나의 제자가 될 수 없다.

14:27 And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

그리고 그의 십자가를 지지 않고 나를 따르는 사람은 내 제자가 될 수 없다.

14:28 "Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. 

너희들 중에 한 사람이 망대를 짓기를 원한다고 가정해 보자.

Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it?

그는 먼저 앉아서 비용을 추산해보고, 공사를 완료할 만큼 충분한 자금이 있는지 확인하지 않을까?
