The Journey of blessings from‘IF to‘Then’.

Dear bothers and sisters, rich or poor, king or slave, teacher or student, parents or children. Pastor or congregation, everyone want to have blessed life. Everyone want that blessings flow in each part of life. Friends, let me ask you a simple and easy question. Do you want blessed life? No doubt everyone of us want to have blessed life. Am i right? Today, Moses the man of God told us the secret of blessings.

Deuteronomy 28 : 9 ~ 11

The Lord will establish you as His holy people, as He promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to Him. - Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. - The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your

ground in the land He swore to your ancestors to give you.

We people keep promise and break our promise but God once make promise. He keep His promise.

2nd. Corinthians 1 : 20

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.

And so through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

Brothers and sisters, if we want to have blessed life. Let us take the journey from ‘IF’ to ‘THEN’

1. Believe in Lord Jesus.

The 1st. step to our journey of blessings is to believe in Lord Jesus as Savior & Son of living God. Religion,

Science, Technology, can’t save us. There is no other way of Salvation. Only Jesus is the way, truth & life.

John 14 : 6

Jesus answered, “I am the way & the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Romans 10 : 9 ~~ If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in

your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Acts 4 : 12 (Salvation is in Jesus name)

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name

under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

2. Love others.

2nd. step to blessings is, always remember that God is Love & He proved His love by giving His Son Jesus.

John 3 : 16

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,

that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1st. John 4 : 8 ~~~~~ Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

1st. John 4 : 16 ~~~~~ And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.

It’s very easy to love our beloved ones but it’s very hard to love those who hate & make troubles for us. If we want to have un-limited blessings of God. Love others without any condition. God will bless you.

1st. Corinthians 13 : 4 ~ 7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

3. Serve others.

3rd. step to have blessed life is to served others, as Jesus served & command. If we want blessings. We’ve to follow Jesus & His foot steps. Jesus washed the feet of His disciples. Jesus never said Judas will betray, I will not wash his feet. I will not serve him. Peter will deny Me 3 times I will not wash his feet. Jesus washed the feet of all 12 disciples and showed us an example to serve others without any discrimination.

John 13 : 14 ~ 15

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one

another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.

Galatians 5 : 13

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use

your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Philippians 2 : 4 ~~ not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

4. Forgive others.

Dear friends, 4th. step to have blessings is to forgive others. If we will not forgive others. How we can have forgiveness of our sins? Adam and Eve never ask for forgiveness and expelled out from the presence of God. Judas Iscariot never repented, he just remorse. “No Repentance, No forgiveness, No blessings”.

Ephesians 4 : 32

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Colossians 3 : 13

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has

a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Matthew 18 : 21 ~ 22

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

5. Make disciples.

Last step to have blessings is obey Jesus last command, while He was ministering on earth. “Go & make disciples”

Matthew 28 : 19 ~~ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,

Luke 19 : 10 ~~~~~ For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

Friends, if we call ourselves Christians. We have to walk on Christ’s foot prints. Do what He ask us to do.

Evangelism is not a duty of pastors, preachers only. It’s duty of all Christians. Let’s go and make disciples.

Conclusion :-

Many times, I explain you the meaning of Christian. “Christ I Am Nothing” Christ is everything, I am nothing.

Friends, the best blessings is we are Saved and we can call ourselves children of God. God is our Father.

Galatians 4 : 6 ~ 7

Because you are His sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; & since you are His child, God has made you also an heir.

Brothers & sisters, if you want the blessings, ⓵ Believe in Lord Jesus. ⓶ Obey Jesus’s command.

Then blessings will follow us where we go. We don’t have to ask blessings. Blessings will follow us.

Deuteronomy 28 : 1 ~ 3 (Please read Deuteronomy 28 the whole chapter)

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city & blessed in the country.

Numbers 6 : 24 ~ 26 - The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and

be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.

Jeremiah 29 : 11 ~~ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to

prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Philippians 4 : 19 ~ And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.

‘만일’에서 ‘그러면’까지의 축복의 여정

형제자매 여러분, 부유하든 가난하든, 왕이나 노예나, 선생이나 학생이나, 부모나 자녀나, 목사나 성도나 모든 사람은 축복받는 삶을 원합니다. 모든 사람들은 삶의 각 영역에 축복이 흐르기를 원합니다. 단순하고 쉬운 질문을 하겠습니다. 여러분은 축복받는 삶을 원하십니까? 틀림없이 우리 모두는 축복받는 삶을 원합니다. 그렇죠? 오늘, 하나님의 사람 모세가 우리에게 축복의 비밀을 말합니다.

신명기 28 : 9 ~ 11

여호와께서 네게 맹세하신 대로 너를 세워 자기의 성민이 되게 하시리니 이는 네가 네 하나님 여호와의 명령을 지켜 그 길로 행할 것임이니라 땅의 모든 백성이 여호와의 이름이 너를 위하여 불리는 것을 보고 너를 두려워하리라 여호와께서 네게 주리라고 네 조상들에게 맹세하신 땅에서 네게 복을 주사 네 몸의 소생과 가축의 새끼와 토지의 소산을 많게 하시며.

우리 사람들은 약속을 하고 우리 약속을 어기지만 하나님은 한번 약속을 하시면 그분의 약속을 지키십니다.

고린도후서 1 : 20 ~~ 하나님의 약속은 얼마든지 그리스도 안에서 예가 되니 그런즉

그로 말미암아 우리가 아멘 하여 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 되느니라.

형제자매 여러분, 우리가 축복 받는 삶을 원한다면 ‘만일’에서 ‘그러면’까지의 여정을 가봅시다.

1. 주 예수를 믿으십시오.

축복의 여정으로의 첫 번째 단계는 주 예수를 구세주와 살아계신 하나님의 아들로 믿는 것입니다. 종교, 과학, 기술은 우리를 구원할 수 없습니다. 구원의 다른 길은 없습니다. 오직 예수만이 길이요, 진리요, 생명입니다.

요한복음 14 : 6

예수께서 이르시되 내가 곧 길이요 진리요 생명이니 나로 말미암지 않고는 아버지께로 올 자가 없느니라

로마서 10 : 9 ~~ 네가 만일 네 입으로 예수를 주로 시인하며 또 하나님께서 그를

죽은 자 가운데서 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라.

사도행전 4 : 12 (구원은 예수의 이름에 있습니다)

다른 이로써는 구원을 받을 수 없나니 천하 사람 중에 구원을

받을 만한 다른 이름을 우리에게 주신 일이 없음이라 하였더라.

2. 다른 사람을 사랑하십시오.

축복의 두 번째 단계는, 하나님은 사랑이시고 그분의 아들 예수를

주심으로써 그분의 사랑을 확증하셨다는 것을 항상 기억하십시오.

요한복음 3 : 16 ~~ 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는

그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라.

요한1서 4 : 8 ~~~~ 사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑하심이라.

요한1서 4 : 16 ~~~ 하나님이 우리를 사랑하시는 사랑을 우리가 알고 믿었노니.

우리를 사랑하는 사람을 사랑하는 것을 매우 쉽지만 우리를 미워하고 문제를 일으키는 사람을 사랑하는 것은 매우 어렵습니다. 만일 우리가 하나님의 무한한 축복을 받고자 한다면 조건 없이

다른 사람을 사랑하십시오. 하나님께서 여러분을 축복하실 것입니다.

고린도전서 13 : 4 ~ 7

사랑은 오래 참고 사랑은 온유하며 시기하지 아니하며 사랑은 자랑하지 아니하며 교만하지 아니하며

무례히 행하지 아니하며 자기의 유익을 구하지 아니하며 성내지 아니하며 악한 것을 생각하지

아니하며 불의를 기뻐하지 아니하며 진리와 함께 기뻐하고 모든 것을 참으며

모든 것을 믿으며 모든 것을 바라며 모든 것을 견디느니라.

3. 다른 사람을 섬기십시오.

축복된 삶을 누리기 위한 세 번째 단계는 예수님이 섬기시고 명령하신 것처럼 다른 사람을 섬기는 것입니다. 만일 우리가 축복 받고자 한다면 우리는 예수와 그분의 발자취를 따라야 합니다. 예수님은 제자들의 발을 씻기셨습니다. 예수님은 유다가 배반할 것이니 그의 발을 씻기지 않을 것이고 그를 섬기지 않 겠다, 베드로는 나를 세 번 부인할 것이니 그의 발을 씻기지 않겠다고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다.

예수님은 열두 제자 모두의 발을 씻기셨고 차별 없이 다른 사람을 섬기는 본을 보이셨습니다.

요한복음 13 : 14 ~ 15

내가 주와 또는 선생이 되어 너희 발을 씻었으니 너희도 서로 발을 씻어주는 것이

옳으니라 내가 너희에게 행한 것 같이 너희도 행하게 하려 하여 본을 보였노라.

갈라디아서 5 : 13

형제들아 너희가 자유를 위하여 부르심을 입었으나 그러나 그

자유로 육체의 기회를 삼지 말고 오직 사랑으로 서로 종노릇하라.

빌립보서 2:4 각각 자기 일을 돌볼뿐더러 또한 각각 다른 사람들의 일을 돌보아 나의 기쁨이 충만하게 하라

4. 다른 사람을 용서하십시오.

축복을 받는 네 번째 단계는 다른 사람을 용서하는 것입니다. 만일 다른 사람을 용서하지 않는다면 우리 죄를 어떻게 용서 받을 수 있겠습니까? 아담과 하와는 용서를 구하지 않아서 하나님 앞에서 쫓겨났습니다. 가룟 유다는 회개하지 않고 단지 후회했습니다. 회개 없이 용서는 없고 축복도 없습니다.

에베소서 4 : 32

서로 친절하게 하며 불쌍히 여기며 서로 용서하기를 하나님이 그리스도 안에서 너희를 용서하심과 같이 하라

골로새서 3 : 13

누가 누구에게 불만이 있거든 서로 용납하여 피차 용서하되 주께서 너희를 용서하신 것 같이 너희도 그리하고

마태복음 18 : 21 ~ 22

그때에 베드로가 나아와 이르되 주여 형제가 내게 죄를 범하면 몇 번이나 용서하여 주리이까 일곱 번까지 하오리이까 예수께서 이르시되 네게 이르노니 일곱 번뿐 아니라 일곱 번을 일흔번까지라도 할지니라

5. 제자 삼으십시오.

축복 받는 마지막 단계는 예수님이 지상에서 사역하시는 동안

‘가서 제자 삼으라’고 하신 마지막 명령에 순종하는 것입니다.

마태복음 28 : 19 ~~~ 그러므로 너희는 가서 모든 민족을 제자로 삼아.

누가복음 19 : 10 ~~~ 인자가 온 것은 잃어버린 자를 찾아 구원하려 함이니라.

우리자신을 크리스천이라 부른다면 우리는 그리스도의 발자취를 걸어야 합니다. 그분이 우리에게 하라고 요청하신 것을 행하십시오. 전도는 목사, 전도사만의 의무가 아닙니다. 모든 크리스천의 의무입니다.

가서 제자 삼읍시다.

결론 :-

저는 크리스천의 의미를 여러분에게 여러 번 설명했습니다. 주님, 저는 아무 것도 아닙니다. (Christ I Am Nothing) 그리스도는 모든 것이며 나는 아무 것도 아닙니다. 최고의 축복은 우리가 구원 받아서 하나님의 자녀라고 부를 수 있는 것입니다. 하나님은 우리 아버지이십니다.

갈라디아서 4 : 6 ~ 7

너희가 아들이므로 하나님이 그 아들의 영을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아빠 아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라 그러므로 네가 이 후로는 종이 아니요 아들이니 아들이면 하나님으로 말미암아 유업을 받을 자니라.

형제자매 여러분, 만일 여러분이 축복을 원한다면 ⓵ 주 예수를 믿으십시오. -- ⓶ 예수님의 명령에 순종하십시오. 그러면 우리가 어디를 가든지 축복이 우리를 따를 것입니다. 축복을 구할 필요가 없습니다. 축복이 우리를 따를 것입니다.

신명기 28 : 1 ~ 3 (신명기 28장 전체를 읽으십시오)

네가 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 삼가 듣고 내가 오늘 네게 명령하는 그의 모든 명령을 지켜 행하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 세계 모든 민족 위에 뛰어나게 하실 것이라

민수기 6 : 24 ~ 26

여호와는 네게 복을 주시고 너를 지키시기를 원하며 여호와는 그의 얼굴을 비추사 은혜 베푸시기를 원하며 여호와는 그 얼굴을 네게로 향하여 드사 평강 주시기를 원하노라 할지니라 하라

예레미야 29 : 11

여호와의 말씀이니라 너희를 향한 나의 생각을 내가 아나니

평안이요 재앙이 아니니라 너희에게 미래와 희망을 주는 것이니라.

빌립보서 4:19 ~ 나의 하나님이 그리스도 예수 안에서 영광 가운데 그 풍성한 대로 너희 쓸 것을 채우.
