Am I, real good Christian?

We call ourselves Christian. Which mean the followers of Christ. There are lots of Christian Cults around us. They call themselves Christian but their teaching is far from Christ. They are wolves in Sheep clothes.

Matthew 7 : 15

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

Dear brothers and sisters, be careful from those Christian Cults (Denominations)

Acts 20 : 29 ~ I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you & will not spare the flock.

2nd. Peter 2 : 2 ~ Many will follow their depraved conduct & will bring the way of truth into disrepute.

♣ Being a "good Christian" isn't about perfection but about a transformed heart, loving God & others. ♣

Bearing spiritual fruit (love, joy, kindness), and actively following Jesus' teachings, even with struggles, focusing on growth through prayer, Bible study, & repentance rather than legalistic performance.

Friends, today let us examine ourselves. Are we real good Christian, letter by letter or not?

C. Called by Christ.

Dear brothers and sisters we are called by Christ not by any prophet, disciple or pastor. Jesus Christ is calling us name by name, cause He knows our names. Jesus Christ is calling everyone of us by names.

John 10 : 3

The gatekeeper opens the gate for Him, and the sheep listen

to His voice. He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out.

Acts 11 : 26

and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.

H. Holy Spirit Indwelt.

Our bodies are God’s temple. We’ve to fill ourselves with the Holy Spirit not worldly desire. We’ve to repent & wash ourselves with the blood of Jesus. Repent & Baptized, & have the baptism of Holy Spirit.

Acts 2 : 38

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus

Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

1st. Corinthians 6 : 19

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit,

who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

R. Redeemed by the Blood.

Always remember that we’re purified with the blood of Jesus Christ. Not by washing soap or any detergent

1st. Peter 1 : 18 ~ 19

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed

from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the

precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

1st. John 1 : 7

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with

one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

I. Imitators of Jesus.

Dear friends, if we are real Christians. Christ must be shown through our deeds. Follow Christ, imitate fully not 50% or 90 %. Wherever we go, when people see us, they have to say, look Christian person is here.

(Imitate Paul as he imitate the Christ) 1st. Corinthians 11 : 1 ~~~ "Be imitator of me, as I am of Christs,"

Ephesians 5 : 1 ~ 2

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ

loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

S. Servants of God & God’s people.

No doubt we are children of God. But servants of God mean serve Him as Master. We’re His servants. We’ve to obey and serve God. There are many who serve & obey God but they do not serve and obey God’s people. Lord Jesus by Himself teach us to serve and obey God and God’s people.

John 13 : 14

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.

1st. Peter 2 : 16

Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.

T. Transformed totally.

Real Christian resemble or transformed himself by renewing of mind. We’ve to resemble Jesus. He is our Master, Teacher, Savior, Redeemer, All in all. We can’t be Jesus but we can be a little Jesus on this earth.

Romans 12 : 2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is His good, pleasing and perfect will.

I. Inheritors of Eternal life.

If we believe in Jesus as Savior & Son of God. Surely we’ll have eternal life. We in-herit the sonship of God.

Titus 3 : 7

so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

Galatians 4 : 7

So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; & since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

A. Ambassadors for Christ.

Christian mean the follower of Christ. He must be shown through our deeds. We’ve to be the Ambassador of Christ. If we can’t follow the foot prints of Jesus, we are fake Christian. Let’s be the Ambassadors of Christ.

2nd. Corinthians 5 : 20

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His

appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

N. New Creation in Christ.

Last & final thing in real & good Christian. Christian is New in Christ. Sinful nature has gone nature gone away.

2nd. Corinthians 5 : 17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Conclusion :-

Let’s examine ourselves very carefully. Are we real good Christian or verbal or fake Christian? Let’s be real

Christian and walk on Jesus foot prints and show Jesus through our deeds. Be the little Jesus on earth.

나는 진짜 좋은 크리스천입니까?

우리는 우리자신을 그리스도를 따르는 자를 의미하는 크리스천이라 부릅니다. 우리 주변에는 수많은 이단 크리스천들이 있습니다. 그들도 자신들을 크리스천이라 부르지만 그들의 가르침은

그리스도와 거리가 멉니다. 그들은 양의 옷을 입은 이리입니다.

마태복음 7 : 15 거짓 선지자들을 삼가라 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 나아오나 속에는 노략질하는 이리라.

형제자매 여러분, 이러한 이단 크리스천(교단)을 조심하십시오.

사도행전 20 : 29 ~~ 내가 떠난 후에 사나운 이리가 여러분에게 들어와서 그 양 떼를 아끼지 아니하며.

베드로후서 2 : 2 여럿이 그들의 호색하는 것을 따르리니 이로 말미암아 진리의 도가 비방을 받을 것이요.

좋은 크리스천이 되는 것은 완벽함에 관한 것이 아니라 변화된 마음, 하나님과 다른 사람을 사랑하는 것에 관한 것입니다. 영적인 열매(사랑, 기쁨, 친절)를 맺는 것, 적극적으로 예수의 가르침을 따르는 것, 애쓰면서라도 기도, 성경공부를 통해 성장에 집중하는 것, 율법을 엄격히 따르기보다는 회개입니다.

오늘 우리자신을 점검합시다. 우리는 한 글자씩 진짜 좋은 크리스천입니까 아닙니까?

C. Called by Christ. 그리스도에게 부름받음.

형제자매 여러분, 우리는 선지자, 제자, 목사가 아니라 그리스도에게 부름을 받았습니다.

예수 그리스도는 우리의 이름을 아시기 때문에 이름으로 우리를 부르십니다.

예수 그리스도는 우리 모든 사람을 이름으로 부르십니다.

요한복음 10 : 3

문지기는 그를 위하여 문을 열고 양은 그의 음성을 듣나니

그가 자기 양의 이름을 각각 불러 인도하여 내느니라.

사도행전 11 : 26

만나매 안디옥에 데리고 와서 둘이 교회에 일년간 모여 있어 큰 무리를

가르쳤고 제자들이 안디옥에서 비로소 그리스도인이라 일컬음을 받게 되었더라.

H. Holy Spirit Indwelt. 내주하시는 성령님.

우리 몸은 하나님의 성전입니다. 세상의 욕망이 아니라 성령으로 우리자신을 채워야 합니다. 우리는 회개하고 예수의 피로 우리자신을 씻어야 합니다. 회개하고 세례 받고 성령의 세례를 받으십시오.

사도행전 2 : 38

베드로가 이르되 너희가 회개하여 각각 예수 그리스도의 이름으로

세례를 받고 죄 사함을 받으라 그리하면 성령의 선물을 받으리니.

고린도전서 6 : 19

너희 몸은 너희가 하나님께로부터 받은 바 너희 가운데 계신

성령의 전인 줄을 알지 못하느냐 너희는 자신의 것이 아니라.

R. Redeemed by the Blood. 피로 구속받음.

우리는 예수 그리스도의 피로 깨끗해졌음을 항상 기억하십시오. 비누나 세정제로 씻은 것이 아닙니다.

베드로전서 1 : 18 ~ 19

너희가 알거니와 너희 조상이 물려준 헛된 행실에서 대속함을 받은 것은 은이나 금 같이 없어질

것으로 된 것이 아니요 오직 흠 없고 점 없는 어린 양 같은 그리스도의 보배로운 피로 된 것이니라.

요한1서 1 : 7 ~~ 그가 빛 가운데 계신 것 같이 우리도 빛 가운데 행하면 우리가 서로 사귐이

있고 그 아들 예수의 피가 우리를 모든 죄에서 깨끗하게 하실 것이요.

I. Imitaters of Jesus. 예수를 본 받는 자.

우리가 진정한 크리스천이라면 우리 행위를 통하여 그리스도를 보여야 합니다. 그리스도를 따르고 50%나 90%가 아니라 온전히 본 받으십시오. 어디를 가든지

사람들이 우리를 볼 때 크리스천이 여기 있다고 말해야 합니다.

고린도전서 11 : 1 내가 그리스도를 본 받는 자가 된 것 같이 (바울이 그리스도를 본 받은 것처럼 바울을 본받으십시오)

에베소서 5 : 1 ~ 2 --- 그러므로 사랑을 받는 자녀 같이 너희는 하나님을 본받는 자가 되고 그리스도께서 너희를 사랑하신 것같이 너희도 사랑 가운데서 행하라 그는 우리를 위하여

자신을 버리사 향기로운 제물과 희생제물로 하나님께 드리셨느니라.

S. Servants of God & God's people. 하나님 그리고 하나님의 사람의 종.

틀림없이 우리는 하나님의 자녀입니다. 하지만 하나님의 종은 그분을 주인으로 섬기는 것을 의미합니다. 우리는 그분의 종입니다. 하나님께 순종하고 섬겨야 합니다. 하나님을 섬기고 순종하는 사람은

많지만 하나님의 사람을 섬기고 순종하지는 않습니다. 주 예수님은 하나님과 하나님의

사람을 섬기고 순종하라고 가르치셨습니다.

요한복음 13 : 14

내가 주와 또 선생이 되어 너희 발을 씻었으니 너희도 서로 발을 씻어주는 것이 옳으니라.

베드로전서 2 : 16

너희는 자유가 있으나 그 자유로 악을 가리는 데 쓰지 말고 오직 하나님의 종과 같이 하라

T. Transformed totally. 온전히 변화됨.

진정한 크리스천은 그분을 닮아가고 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화됩니다.

우리는 예수를 닮아야 합니다. 그분은 우리의 주인, 선생, 구세주, 구속자, 모든 것이십니다.

우리는 예수가 될 수 없지만 이 땅에서 작은 예수가 될 수 있습니다.

로마서 12 : 2 ~~ 너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아

하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라.

I. Inheritors of Eternal life 영생의 상속자.

우리가 예수를 구세주와 하나님의 아들로 믿는다면 틀림없이 영생을 얻을 것입니다.

우리는 하나님의 아들신분을 상속받습니다.

디도서 3 : 7

우리로 그의 은혜를 힘입어 의롭다하심을 얻어 영생의 소망을 따라 상속자가 되게 하려 하심이라.

갈라디아서 4 : 7

그러므로 네가 이후로는 종이 아니요 아들이니 아들이면 하나님으로 말미암아 유업을 받을 자니라.

A. Ambassdors for Christ. 그리스도를 위한 대사.

크리스천은 그리스도를 따르는 사람을 의미합니다. 우리 행위를 통해 그분이 보여야 합니다. 우리는

그리스도의 대사가 되어야 합니다. 우리가 예수의 발자취를 따를 수 없다면

우리는 가짜 크리스천입니다. 그리스도의 대사가 됩시다.

고린도후서 5 : 20 ~ 그러므로 우리가 그리스도를 대신하여 사신이 되어 하나님이 우리를 통하여

너희를 권면하시는 것 같이 그리스도를 대신하여 간청하노니 너희는 하나님과 화목하라.

N. New Creation in Christ. 그리스도 안에서 새로운 피조물.

진짜 좋은 크리스천에서 마지막입니다. 크리스천은 그리스도 안에서 새롭습니다. 죄의 본성은 사라졌습니다.

고린도후서 5 : 17

그런즉 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새로운 피조물이라 이전 것은 지나갔으니 보라 새것이 되었도다

결론 :-

매우 신중하게 우리자신을 점검합시다. 우리는 진짜 좋은 크리스천입니까 말뿐인 가짜 크리스천입니까? 진짜 크리스천이 되고 예수의 발자취를 걷고 우리 행위를 통해 예수를 보입시다. 이 땅에서 작은 예수가 되십시오.
