ADDING ANY WORKS TO THE GOSPEL OF OUR SALVATION WILL PREVENT SALVATION AT THAT TIME
우리의 구원의 복음에 어떤 행위라도 추가하면 그때의 구원은 방해받게 될 것입니다.

Unfortunately, the most prevailing gospel that is presented to the lost, today, is a non-saving gospel of works. And, that pleases Satan very much because it creates many false converts, which causes much confusion and loss of souls.
불행하게도 오늘날 잃어버린 자들에게 제시된 가장 널리 퍼진 복음은 구원하지 못하는 행위의 복음입니다. 그리고 그것은 많은 거짓 개종자를 만들어 많은 혼란과 혼의 손실을 초래하기 때문에 사탄을 매우 기쁘게 합니다.

It's so common, today, to hear people tell the lost to turn from their sins and confess with their mouth and to say the sinner's prayer to be saved. All of which are WORKS that actually prevent salvation, according to Romans 4:4-5,14; Titus 3:5; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 11:16; Colossians 4:12 KJV.  오늘날 사람들이 잃어버린 자들에게 죄에서 돌이키고 입으로 자백하라고 말하고, 죄인이 구원받기 위해 기도하는 것을 듣는 것은 너무나 흔한 일입니다. 로마서 4:4-5,14; 디도서 3:5; 갈라디아서 2:16; 에베소서 2:8-9; 로마서 11:16; 골로새서 4:12 KJV.

As right-dividers, we understand clearly that it is only by BELIEVING Paul's grace gospel, WITHOUT WORKS, that has the power of God unto salvation today (1Cor. 15:1-4; Eph. 1:13; Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 1:16 KJV). Because we believe Paul when he tells us that his salvation became the New PATTERN of salvation from then on (1Tim. 1:15-16; Rom. 2:16 KJV). 올바른 구분자로서 우리는 행위 없이 오직 바울의 은혜 복음을 믿음으로써만 오늘날 구원에 이르는 하나님의 능력을 얻을 수 있다는 것을 분명히 이해합니다(고전 15:1-4; 엡 1:13; 엡 2:8-9; 롬 1:16 KJV). 왜냐하면 우리는 바울이 자신의 구원이 그때부터 구원의 새로운 패턴이 되었다고 말한 것을 믿기 때문입니다(딤전 1:15-16; 롬 2:16 KJV).

We know, from Paul's epistles, that adding ANY works what-so-ever to the gospel of our salvation, and it cancels out the grace, faith is made void, and the promise of the Spirit and eternal life are made of none effect (Rom. 4:4-5,14; Rom. 11:16; Eph. 2:8-9 KJV).
우리는 바울의 서신을 통해 우리 구원의 복음에 어떤 일이라도 더하면 은혜가 폐해지고, 믿음이 헛되고, 성령과 영생에 대한 약속이 폐하여진다는 것을 알고 있습니다(롬 4:4-5,14; 롬 11:16; 엡 2:8-9 KJV).

Which means when a lost person is trying to get saved, but they add works to the gospel of their salvation (confessing, praying, doing righteous deeds), they DON'T get saved. And, it doesn't matter if they do it ignorantly or knowingly. A person CANNOT get saved if they add any works to the gospel of their salvation.
이는 잃어버린 사람이 구원을 얻으려고 노력하지만 구원의 복음에 행위(고백, 기도, 의로운 행위)를 더하면 구원받지 못한다는 뜻입니다. 그리고 그들이 무지하게 또는 고의로 그렇게 하는지는 중요하지 않습니다. 구원의 복음에 어떤 행위라도 더하면 구원받을 수 없습니다.

Today, adding WORKS to the gospel of our salvation, PREVENTS SALVATION.

Many Christians who AREN'T rightly dividing the word of truth (2Tim. 2:15 KJV), will point to Romans 10:9 to try and prove, from Paul's epistles, that we must “confess with our mouth” and believe to be saved.
진리의 말씀(딤후 2:15 KJV)을 올바로 나누지 않는 많은 그리스도인들은 로마서 10장 9절을 지적하여 바울의 서신에서 우리가 “입으로 시인”하고 구원받기를 믿어야 한다는 점을 증명하려고 노력할 것입니다.
Paul Writes,

Romans 10:9 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 네가 네 입으로 주 예수를 시인하고 또 하나님께서 그를 죽은 자들로부터 살리신 것을 네 마음에 믿으면 구원을 받으리라.

However, they miss Verse 1. 그러나 그들은 1절을 놓치고 있습니다.

In Verse 1 of Romans 10, Paul tells us clearly that he is speaking of ISRAEL'S SALVATION.

Romans 10:1 (KJV) Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God FOR ISRAEL is, that THEY might be saved.

You see, because Israel rejected Jesus as their Messiah, and crucified him, Israel will be REQUIRED, in the future Ages To Come (after the rapture), to CONFESS that Jesus is the Son of God (1John 4:15 KJV).

What most Christians don't understand is that in Romans chapter 9-11 Paul is explaining to us, the Body of Christ, about the DISPENSATIONAL CHANGE that has occurred (Eph. 3:1-10 KJV), and what's happened to ISRAEL (Summarized in Romans 11:11-13 KJV). 대부분의 그리스도인들이 이해하지 못하는 것은 로마서 9-11장에서 바울이 그리스도의 몸인 우리에게 발생한 세대적 변화(엡 3:1-10 KJV)와 이스라엘에 일어난 일(로마서 11:11-13 KJV에 요약)에 대해 설명하고 있다는 것입니다.

So, it's very important when we present Paul's grace gospel to a lost person, that we don't tempt the person to think that there is anything that they must do, say, or pray in order to obtain salvation. 그러므로 우리가 잃어버린 사람에게 바울의 은혜 복음을 전할 때, 그 사람이 구원을 얻기 위해서는 무엇이든 해야 하고, 말하고, 기도해야 한다고 생각하도록 유혹하지 않는 것이 매우 중요합니다.

Yes, in order for a person to want to be saved they need to understand that they have a need for forgiveness for their sins and salvation from hell. Unforgiven sinners can't come before a holy God in heaven. Therefore, God sent his Son as the only mediator between a holy God and sinful man. 1Tim. 2:5 KJV.

To be redeemed, forgiven, justified, saved, and have imputed righteousness and Life, a person must be IN Christ (the one mediator). See 1Cor. 15:22; 2Tim. 2:10; Eph. 1:7; Rom. 3:24; 1Cor. 1:30 KJV.

Reasonably, if a person doesn't believe they have any sin, then they're not going to believe that Christ died for their sins. 1Cor. 15:3-4.

It only takes ONE lie to be a sinner (James 2:10; Galatians 3:10-11 KJV). See Ex 20:16; Ex 23:1 KJV.

In Romans chapters 1-5, Paul teaches us how and why God can JUSTIFY us, today.

In Romans chapter 1, God's word establishes that the Gentiles are under sin.

In Romans chapter 2, God's word establishes that the Jews are under sin.

In Romans chapter 3, God's word establishes that there is none that doeth good, none righteous, and that all have SINNED and come short of the glory of God, and that all the world is guilty before God.

In Romans chapter 4, God's word uses Abraham as our example of being justified and righteousness being imputed upon him BY FAITH WITHOUT WORKS because Abraham BELIEVED God.

In Romans chapter 5, God's word teaches us about the goodness of God's FREE GIFT by grace to the ungodly sinners, and how we have peace with God because we are justified by faith in his Son's blood.

But, a lost person doesn't have to understand all that I've just told you.

The main thing a lost person needs to understand, regarding their sins, is their NEED for and TRUST in the only Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, and BELIEF in the gospel, in order to obtain the forgiveness and payment for their sins. Otherwise, God will require them to pay for their own sins in the future lake of fire forever. 2Th. 1:8-9 KJV. And, they need to understand that the only way to obtain forgiveness and salvation is to (without doing, saying, or praying anything) BELIEVE that Christ DIED FOR THEIR SINS, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day. 1Cor. 15:1-4; Eph. 1:13; Rom. 4:4-5,14; Eph. 2:8-9 KJV.

I understand the gospel. It just bothers me when I hear people say "admit you're a sinner" or "accept that you're a sinner". 1 Corinthians 15:3 says that "....Christ died for our sins..." so, in my mind telling someone to admit or to accept something prior to just simply believing the words is complicating things - ever so slightly.

Yeah, I don't like the term "admit," either, because when most people hear “admit” they think they must “verbally confess." Confessing with your mouth is "doing" something; it's a WORK that can prevent a lost person from obtaining salvation, if they add it to the gospel of their salvation (Rom. 4;4-5,14; Eph. 2:8-9; Tit. 3:5-7 KJV). The lost person simply needs to understand and believe, in the privacy of their own mind and heart, that they are a guilty sinner in need of forgiveness and salvation by BELIEVING the gospel of their salvation, without doing, saying, or praying anything.

I guess I prefer the word acknowledge. I know it's a bit like admit or accept, but I think it is more appropriate. But, it's definitely not worth arguing about, right?

Well, that word too, could be easily misconstrued. Many people hear "acknowledge" and think "verbally confess." The words "acknowledge" and "admit" are often thought of as actions, as well. But, in no way can the words "understand" and "believe" be thought of as external verbal actions. It's vitally important that we not tempt the lost person with ANYTHING that they could "DO" to help in their salvation.

"Acknowledge" and “admit” are considered synonyms in a Thesaurus. So, using these words can present some risk. The lost person could misunderstand and think they must verbally confess to God that they are a sinner, which would be adding works to the gospel of their salvaiton (Rom. 4:4-5,14; Tit. 3:5; Eph. 2:8-9 KJV).

Thanks for the conversation and for hearing me out. I love how you want to be accurate! I feel like the English language can be iffy at times. I have to ask myself (often enough) if I have any idea what I'm thinking, feeling, or saying.

I heard someone else, when they presented the gospel, say that you have to admit that you're a sinner before you can believe the gospel and trust Christ. To a certain extent I understand that, but I don't believe anyone has to admit anything, as in make a [ verbal ] confession. The gospel itself tells us that Christ died for our sins. It's one complete message, and we don't need to confuse people by stating up front - admit that you're a sinner. Am I making any sense? (Sorry for any repetition.)

As discussed, "admit" can be a little risky to use, because the connotation value could compel some to want to verbally confess with their mouth, or confess to God through a silent prayer, that they are a sinner; both of which would be a work. Confessing to God is PRAYER, and prayer is definitely a work according to Colossians 4:12 KJV. And, “confessing with your mouth” is literally a physcial action (something we have “done”), so “confessing with your mouth” is clearly a work according to Titus 3:5 KJV. Therefore, “believe” and “understand” are the safest words to use, because they don't invite or tempt the lost person to do, say, or pray something.
