사사들의 사역을 통한 리더십의 현대적 적용

  본 논문은 리더십의 홍수 속에서 창조, 타락, 구속이라는 기독교 세계관의 관점에서 리더십의 의미를 발견하고, 사사들의 사역을 통해 나타난 리더십을 통해 현대의 그리스도인이 세상 속에서 사사들과 같이 리더십을 회복해야한다는 의도로 연구되었다.

  기독교 세계관의 관점에서 볼 때 하나님은 인간에게 이미 특별한 지위와 함께 리더십을 부여하셨다. 따라서 하나님의 형상을 닮은 사람으로 태어났다면 이미 누구나 잠재적인 리더십을 가지고 있는 것이고 이 잠재된 리더십은 개발될 수 있는 것이다.

  그러나 세상은 타락으로 인해 이미 주어진 리더십이 상실되고, 잠재되어 있는 것이 리더십의 문제이다. 이 문제에 대해서는 예수 그리스도의 구속으로 인해 예수님을 주님으로 영접한 사람들이 잃어버린 리더십을 다시 회복함으로 해결할 수 있다는 것을 밝히고 있다.

  따라서 본 논문에서는 그리스도인들이 지도력을 회복하여 오늘의 삶에 적용할 수 있도록 사사들의 사역을 근거로 제시하여 전개하였다.

  그래서 리더십에 관한 이해를 돕기 위해 사전적 해석이나 학자들의 정의를 통해 학술적인 이해를 하고, 성경에서 표현된 리더십과 관련된 용어들을 우선 관찰했다. 그 후에 하나님께서 사람들에게 복을 주신 창세기의 말씀을 이론적인 바탕으로 삼고, 나아가 하나님의 부르심에 순종함으로 그 시대의 지도자로서 다양하게 쓰임 받은 구약 사사기의 사사들을 모델로 삼아 그들의 사역을 통해 리더십의 다양한 모습을 발견한다.

  무엇보다 사사들의 지도력은 평범함에서 비범함까지 다양한 스펙트럼을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 사사라는 인물들을 관찰하여 그들의 사역을 통해 각각의 리더십의 특징을 발견하고 연구를 진행하였다. 그래서 사사들의 모습을 통해 현대의 그리스도인들이 세상 속에서 리더의 역할을 할 수 있도록 리더십을 배우고, 세상에서 영향력 있는 삶을 살도록 적용하고 있다.

  본 논문 속에서 사사들의 보여준 리더십은 현대를 사는 사람들에게 하나님을 힘입어 살면 얼마든지 리더십을 나타낼 수 있음을 보여준다. 다시 말해 하나님의 자녀로 살아가는 모든 사람들에게 리더로서의 가능성을 보여 주고 있다.

  무엇보다 본 논문을 연구하면서 기독교 세계관의 관점으로 사사들의 사역을 통한 리더십의 현대적 적용을 시도한 것과, 리더십에 대한 새로운 용어는 이 논문의 성과라고 할 수 있다.

  본 논문을 통해 소개했던 용어로 "원(源)리더십 (Original Leadership)"과 "위임(委任) 리더십(Mandate Leadership)"이라는 용어는 아직 사용되거나 발표되지 않은 용어이고, 또 리더(Mandate Leader)위에 리더(Original Leader)있고, 리더(Original Leader)아래 리더(Mandate Leader)있다는 리더십의 관계성에 대한 정의도 독특하다. 이런 관점으로 리더십에 대한 연구를 시도한 것이 본 논문이 최초라고 생각된다.

A Study on Applying Leadership in Modern Ways
through the Ministry of the Judges

This dissertation has been studied with the aim of finding the meaning of leadership in the Christian point of View what we call the creation, the depravity, and redemption within the flood of leadership and restoring leadership like the judges in the world of the modern Christians through the leadership appeared through the ministry of the Judges.

When we see in the Christian view of the world, God gave human beings special position and leadership already. Therefore, all of us have the potential leadership as born as a man having the image of God, and such potential leadership can be developed.

However, the problem is that the leadership given already was lost but in the state of potentiality due to the fall of the world. It has been clarified that this problem can be solved by restoring the lost leadership again by the people who welcome Jesus Christ as the Lord through the redemption of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, this dissertation has been developed to restore the leadership to be applied to our life of today by suggesting the evidences through Bible on such facts.

For such reason this study has observed the terms related with the leadership expressed in Bible first of all by understanding the leadership scientifically through lexical interpretation or definition of the scholars in order to help understand the leadership. Afterwards based on the words of Genesis in which God Blessed the people as the theoretical foundation, and moreover with judges in the Book of Judges in the Old Testament as the model as they had been diversely used as the leaders at that time by obeying the call of God, this study finds the diverse images of leadership through their ministry.

More than anything else, the leadership of judges has the diverse spectrum from being common to being uncommon. Therefore, this study has been developed by finding the characters of each leadership through their ministry by observing the personalities of judges. And then this study has the aim of applying such leadership for the modern people to be able to lead life of affecting the world after learning the leadership to play the leading roles in this world as Christians of today through the images of the judges.

Therefore, the leadership the judges have shown in this dissertation shows to the people living in modern times that we can show the leadership when we live our life indebted to God as much as we wish. In other words, they show the possibility of being leaders to all the people living as the children of God.

More than anything else through the study of this dissertation, this study could have the result of obtaining the new term of the leadership including the attempt of applying leadership to the modern times through the works of the judges in the viewpoint of the world of Christianity.

Original Leadership and Mandate Leadership are the terms introduced from this dissertation, but they are the terms never been used nor expressed, and the definition on the relationship of the leadership that there is the original leader above mandate leader and mandate leader under the original leader is also peculiar. Under such viewpoints I think this dissertation might be the first study that attempted the study on leadership.
