Bible Reading - Luke 16:1~10

16:1 Jesus told his disciples: 예수께서 그의 제자들에게 말씀하셨다.

"There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions.

재산을 낭비했다고 고발당한 관리자가 있는 한 부자가 있었다.

16:2 So he called him in and asked him, 'What is this I hear about you? 

그래서 그가 그를 불러 그에게 말했다. "내가 너에 대해 들은 이것이 무엇이냐?"

Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer.'

너는 더 이상 관리자의 역할을 할 수 없으므로, 너의 경영 활동에 대해 셈을 하도록 하라.

16:3 "The manager said to himself, 'What shall I do now? 

그 관리자는 "내가 지금 무엇을할까?"하고 자신에게 말했다.

My master is taking away my job. 내 주인이 내 직업을 가져가 버리고 있다.

I'm not strong enough to dig, and I'm ashamed to beg--

나는 땅을 파서 벌어먹을 만큼 강하지 않고 구걸하기에는 너무 수치스럽다.

16:4 I know what I'll do so that, when I lose my job here, people will welcome me into their houses.'

내가 여기서 일자리를 잃더라도 사람들이 나를 따뜻하게 맞아줄 수 있도록 내가 무엇을 해야 할지 알고 있다.

6:5 "So he called in each one of his master's debtors.

그래서 그는 그의 주인에게 빚진 각 사람들을 불렀다.

He asked the first, 'How much do you owe my master?'

그는 첫째 사람에게 물었다."너는 얼마를 내 주인에게 갚아야 하는가?"

16:6 "'Eight hundred gallons of olive oil,' he replied. 

"감람유 800 갤런입니다."라고 그가 대답했다.

"The manager told him, 'Take your bill, sit down quickly, and make it four hundred.'

그 관리자가 그에게 "너의 영수증을 가지고 속히 앉아서 그것을 400이라고 하라."고 말했다.

16:7 "Then he asked the second, 'And how much do you owe?' "

그리고 나서 그는 두번째 사람을 불러서 "그리고 너는 얼마나 빚졌는가?'

'A thousand bushels of wheat,' he replied. "밀 1,000 부셸입니다."라고 그가 대답했다.

"He told him, 'Take your bill and make it eight hundred.'

그가 그에게 말했다. "너의 증서를 취하여 그것에 800이라고 하라."

16:8 "The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly(교활하게).

그 주인은 부정직한 관리자가 교활하게 행동했기 때문에 그를 칭찬했다.

For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

이 세상 사람들은 빛의 사람들보다 자신들과 같은 부류를 다루는 데 더 교활하다.

16:9 I tell you, use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves,

내가 너희에게 이르노니, 세상의 재물을 사용하여 너희 친구를 얻으라.

so that when it is gone, 그래서 그것이 사라질 때 

you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. 너희는 영원한 거처로 영접을 받을 것이다. 

16:10 "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, 

아주 작은 것을 믿고 맡길 수 있는 사람은 많은 것도 믿고 맡길 수 있고

and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

아주 작은 일에 정직하지 못한 사람은 큰일에도 정직하지 못할 것이다.
