Bible Reading - Luke 16:11~21

16:11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, 

그러므로 만일 당신이 세상의 재물을 다루는 데 있어서 신뢰할 수 없었다면,

who will trust you with true riches? 누가 참된 부를 너에게 맡길 것인가?

16:12 And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, 

만일 당신이 다른 사람의 재산을 성실하게 관리하지 못했다면,

who will give you property of your own? 누가 당신에게 당신 소유의 재산을 줄까요?

16:13 "No servant can serve two masters. 종은 두 주인을 섬길 수 없다.

Either he will hate the one and love the other, 그는 하나를 미워하든지 다른 것을 사랑할 것이다. 

or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.

아니면 그는 한쪽에만 충성하고 다른 쪽을 경멸할 것이다.

You cannot serve both God and Money." 너희는 하나님과 돈 모두를 섬길 수 없다.

16:14 The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering(비웃고 있는) at Jesus.

돈을 사랑하는 바리새인들은 이 모든 말을 듣고 예수를 비웃었습니다.

16:15 He said to them, 그는 그들에게 말했다.

"You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of men, 

당신은 사람들의 눈에 너 자신을 스스로 의롭게 여기는 자이다.

but God knows your hearts. 그러나 하나님은 너의 마음을 아신다.

What is highly valued among men is detestable in God's sight.

사람들이 귀하게 여기는 것이 하나님 보시기에는 가증스러운 것이다.

16:16 "The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John.

율법과 선지자들은 요한의 시대까지 선포되었다.

Since that time, 그때까지

the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, 

하나님의 나라의 복음은 선포되고 있는 중이며 

and everyone is forcing his way into it.

모두가 그 안으로 억지로 끼어들려고 하고 있어요.

16:17 It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.

하늘과 땅이 사라지는 것보다 율법의 한획이 사라지는 것이 더 어렵다.

16:18 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, 

아내와 이혼하고 다른 여자와 결혼하는 사람은 간음죄를 짓는 것이며

and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

이혼한 여자와 결혼하는 남자는 간음을 저지르는 것이다.

16:19 "There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.

자주색 옷과 고급 아마포를 입고 날마다 호화로운 생활을 누리는 부자가 있었다.

16:20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores

그의 대문 앞에는 온몸에 종기가 난 나사로라는 거지가 누워 있었고
16:21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table.

부자의 식탁에서 떨어진 것을 먹고 싶어 갈망했다.

Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 심지어 개들이 와서 그의 상처를 핥았다.
