Soil Gallery in Seattle
In the program Joshua writes, " We want to deconstruct the socially constructed border between audience and art. We wish to give the audience the sense they are part of the parliament of things because politico-economic systems are based upon trust and participation of individuals. Transferring the perspective of individuals to that of the collective, the real value of space becomes the value of it occupants. You, the representative, are a part of all the systems intersecting at this continual session of parliament.,"
All the Soil gallery, the artists invite the audience to engage in conversation about ethical and social narratives. It was a very thought provoking, aesthetic, and intelligent exhibition. There were more than 300 audience dropped by at the opening night, another successful ONTOLOGUE!
Joshua (Hooja's 2nd son) invited the audience to engage in a conversation about ethical
and social narratives. It was a successful exhibition.
Melis van del Berg from Holland built an on-site installation that matches with
the gallery structure and objects in the gallery.
Joshua is explaining Allision's audio installation, STATION, to the visitors.
It is about discovery and the varying emotions aroused by being a foreigner.

Melis' on-site installation in the gallery, and Allison installed audio/video camera
on it to show ever-changing images.
Joshua's pure gold stanchion representing the sky rocking gold price. He was asking the
audience to peel one piece of the ultra-thin gold foils to feel pure-gold and conversation started.
Lots of interactions with artists and audience.
Watching self images on the wall screen all evening for discovery of self.....
I made my own shrine with sushi, chopsticks and tissue.
After making your own shrine, you enjoy the sushi. Daniel is enjoying sushi with audience.
Joshua's professors from Univ. of Washington came to see him.
There were lot of people outside of the gallery,
and inside of the gallery...
Susan's "Where am I going to go?". Flying blanket invites for a dialogue...
