주님, 저는 주님을 제 지붕 아래로 모실 자격이 없습니다.

그저 한 말씀만 해 주십시오.

그러면 제 종이 나을 것입니다.  (마태오 8,5-11)

Lord, I am not worthy

to have you enter under my roof;

only say the word 

and my servant will be healed.

하늘과 땅의 주님이신 아버지,

지혜롭다는 사람들과 똑똑하다는 사람들에게는

이 모든 것을 감추시고 오히려

철부지 어린이들에게 나타내 보이시니 감사합니다.

    (루카 10,21-24) 

I give you praise, Father,

Lord of heaven and earth,

for although you have hidden these things

from the wise and the learned

you have revealed them to the childlike.

많은 군중이 다리저는 이들과 눈먼 이들과

다른 불구자들과 말못하는 이들,

그리고 또 다른 많은 이들을 데리고 예수님께  다가왔다.

그들을 그분 발치에 데려놓자 

예수님께서는 그들을 고쳐 주셨다. (마태 15,29-37)

Great crowds came to him,

having with them the lame, the blind,

the deformed, the mute, and many others.

They placed them at his feet. and he cured them.

다리를 저는, 절뚝거리는

말을 못하는, 벙어리의

추수할 것은 많은데 일꾼이 적으니 그 주인에게 

추수할 일꾼들을 보내달라고 청하여라(매태 9,38-10,1.6-8)

The harvest  is abundant but laborers are few;

so ask the master of harvest 

to send out  laborers for his harvest
